Sounds good man. Exactly why I asked lol, with OSFM base a new version would be released the next day on the big updates and so many people would restart. I hope you finally get to enjoy that work with your own franchise (which I'd love to read the updates on btw)

Nothing I hate worse than spending hours setting up my franchise then see an update come out. I want to avoid that.

Just to pass this on to you guys...I would check the calc cause I played my first game with these and I have to change the pitches around some...example Flex Hernandez his no.1 pitch is the sinker while the curveball that you have as no. 1 is his no.3 pitch and Corey Kluber has a Curveball as his no.1 pitch, according to brooks and fan graph he has never thrown a curveball in his career, just a heads up...I was not sure how realistic you wanted the rosters or not..I am going to make the changes myself I just want to bring it to your attention if you want to do anything about it....

Appreciate the not wasting time on things that change and the CPU screws up like lineups and what not. Also appreciate the memorial day weekend release! Hopefully the stat cast pitch edits get good results.

We used the statcast pitch classifications, and the order of pitches comes from usage pct.

Some of Hernández's sinkers were marked as two seamers, which was enough to split it up to the 3rd and 5th pitch.

As for Kluber, the pitches statcast is calling a curveball looks like what is otherwise called his slider.

Using the statcast pitch classification is very nice for automation, but if there are issues with it, we'll need to either adjust, or look at other options.

Let us know if you find any other issues. This is the first year we're doing in house pitch edits.

Idk if you are going to start a corrections thread, but I found a few.

Angels

Luis Pena has service time for some reason. Houston spotted that in the OSFM roster a few days ago.

Jake Yaacinich has been released by LAA

Jahmai Jones has moved from CF to 2B now.


Twins

Brian Navarreto has service time as well for some reason. Houston pointed that out as well. (The service time thing i think might be an issue from transferring a player from 17 to 18).

Rays

Xorge Carillo was released last month

Mariners

Zach Shank retired last week

Zach Vincej needs service time. He was one of the missing players in 18. Service time should be 0.031 from last season with the Reds.

Lindsey Caughel also has service time as well and shouldn't.

Rangers

Tony Sanchez has incorrect service time. I have the correct version I'll upload it later for you.

Luis Marte was released last week and is now with the Braves AA Mississippi.

Astros

Arturo Michelena was released a few weeks ago.

Good stuff. I'll make sure the transactions are in my table. Service time is a tricky one, and positions are set up so that about a month at the new position should override the old one. Did he miss time?

Jones should have been on our shortlist for known position changes, but Robertson must have just missed the cutoff.

Positions are determined by games played, and each year is weighted 5x that of the previous year.

We can force in phantom games to force a switch, and we can manually set positions. But normally, it takes about a month at a position to overtake the previous year (30 g * 5 vs 150 g).
