Have an update for everyone. We've been working tirelessly to rebuild the roster, importing over players who shouldn't be on a team's 90 man roster and importing over with new AAA/AA players. We have gotten to the point that rosters from 17, the vault, and all other ways to find players have ran dry and we're left with creating players. Here is a list of players that we need:

Twins C Brian Olson (AA)
Astros SP Ryan Hartman (AA)
Marlins 1B Colby Lusignan (AA)
Marlins 2B Mason Davis (AA)
Mets 2B Nick Segakis (AA)
Cardinals 2B Luke Dykstra (AA)

If you know where we can find any of these guys, or you create one of them yourself, please let us know. Help is always appreciated and we will be sure to give you credit for the work.

After completing this list, we will move onto equipment and ratings. After that, it's basically roster management and cleaning things up. We've made some great progress, though!

Stay tuned, and if you can help find/create those guys, it would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry if I missed it but is there a timeline? I think in years' past, it was around early to mid-may?

No ETA quite yet. We're still building the calculator to include our own personalized pitch edits, as well as refining our formulas. However, we're leaving the ratings/pitch edits for last and doing everything else first.

Last will be ratings and pitch edits because that's where the calculator comes in, but we're in the process of updating it. Equipment edits comes before that.

We are down to 4 players that need to be created/found:

Astros SP Ryan Hartman (AA)
Marlins 2B Mason Davis (AA)
Mets 2B Nick Segakis (AA)
Cardinals 2B Luke Dykstra (AA)

Again, if you know where any of these players might be located, please let us know. We've been creating guys non-stop so if a player base is found, it saves us time.

Transactions are 100% up-to-date. After these 4 players are done, we move on to equipment and calculator work (ratings/pitch edits/position edits/jersey number edits/potential edits/etc).

Are you going to release a version before the ratings and equipment edits? That part isn't as big of a deal to me, I just want the right players.

I'm definitely looking to use these rosters for my Cardinals franchise. I see these rosters will have real contracts which is fantastic! I was curious if there will only be one CP listed for each level of the organization? I appreciate all of your work! This is a long tedious process and I think I can speak for everyone in saying thank you!

@King: the minor league ratings are really arbitrary, because no effort was put into keeping them sane, knowing they're all getting replaced.

@Storm: We need 3 CP in the organization to keep the AI from panicking. These are mostly picked by who had the most saves since last year.

So for STL, the closers would be Norris, Mujica, and Beck. (And Holland in A/DL). Though Guilmet is moving to overtake.

Not even scaled down contracts? That's what is best to use in my opinion because this way it's like real life MLB & it doesn't affect Free Agency like it does with full contracts. I also thought you guys were going to have real contracts but I guess that I have gotten it mixed up with a post from another roster project. Thanks.

As of right now, we are moving forward with default contracts, of course contract years will be adjusted for extensions of Blackmon, etc. The way the morale and budget system work, we don't want to put forth that time to have to go back and reset them if there are issues down the line.
