His BABIP is way higher this year compared to previous seasons, implying a high amount of luck on his batted balls. Most prospect ratings indicate him to be a utility player at best on a MLB roster.

Not saying he hasn't turned a corner or figured something out, but what he has done through the first half of the season is still the outlier compared to previous performance.
No worries, no bubbles bursted. You basically just said everything I just said, but with more analytical talk.
So we're basically agreeing. I just highlighted that he's been red hot at the plate the entire month of June, that's all.

Not saying he's projected to be a future star in Cincinnati, as I pointed out, his glove has always been considered his one plus tool.

He was never 100% last season, so I didn't hold 2018 against him. He went on the DL for two months just two weeks into the season with a wrist injury, and then a week after coming off the DL, went back on for 5 weeks due to another injury. He never really had a legitimate chance to show what he could do, or find his footing.

Still, we’re finally seeing some progress at the plate for Rodriguez. Cutting down on the strikeouts has certainly helped (striking out just 12.5%.) More contact usually leads to more hits. And at least for now, that’s exactly what has happened for the shortstop.

Hoping the Reds call him up to AAA in the second half of the season, so I can see how he fares against better competition.

By the way, have completed 14 teams so far Daonlyjmo. Also, have been able to squeeze in a few more 2nd round picks.

All the transactions are up to date up to the Yankees/Mariners deal, so note that down, because I haven't been keeping up since that deal.

daonlyjmo7, I don't know if you've tried them yet with your V2 roster release, but I downloaded Mike Lowe's latest slider set from the vault and increased hitter contact from what he had it set at "4" to "5" and increased fastball and offspeed pitch speed from the default "5" to "10" on both and I'm seeing some good fundamental baseball. I'll post some scores and stats when I get some games in. This is for CPU vs CPU as of now.

This may be something for the User vs CPU crowd to try too.

I removed Tyler Skaggs and Alex Meyer from the LA Angels roster set completely, due to Skaggs passing away today in Texas (RIP), and Meyer retiring a few weeks ago.

            18 teams are now completed.

Daonlyjmo7, I have a request to ask of you if you have time. I'm tinkering around with CPU vs CPU sliders for both your Full Minors V1 redux as well as the new V2 TrueSim set recently released from Cycloniac24 that can be found in the vault under his name. If it isn't too much trouble, can you do what you did with his TrueSim V1 set and expand all 30 teams to full 40 man rosters with no injuries and save it in the vault just as you did his V1 set and the others? Both rosters are by far the best available in my opinion. Again, no rush. Hope you have a great 4th. Thanks again.

Yeah for sure man. Basically I just added the top 40 players based on overall to the 40-man and then added all 40-man players to the MLB. Then I backed out and had the CPU fix all rosters. Then if u want what I did is just tinkered with the minor league depth charts a little bit and made sure the mlb rosters made sense. I figured this was the easiest way and it also made it so I was unbiased since the CPU does most of the work.

                    Re: Full Minors 19 Redux

10 teams remaining, and then I'll finally be done.

Might be 9-8 by the end of the night, depending on if I can get some stuff done first.

I'm definitely not going to buy this game next year, because I'll be able to use this roster for more than a year easily with how in depth it is.

Also added some of the top international free agents to their teams, since they officially signed their contracts. Might add a few more, depending on how much dead weight is on the other teams rosters.

Can you explain what all exactly this roster will entail? Did you start with a base of V3 of the roster from this thread?

Yes, I'm using the most recent roster from this thread as the base

I'll try not to make this too lengthy, but will likely fail..

So I'm pretty ridiculously anal about having the most in depth roster set when it comes to baseball, especially prospects. I don't want a single top prospect missing from my roster set. OSFM team did an amazing job adding all of the top tier prospects (Top 10 for each club), but I want the 11-30 guys on there too.

So I use the foundation that they built, and start to build on top of it. There were 196 missing prospects in total [combined] from each clubs respective Top 30 list. I'll edit over a dead weight minor league player, and create the prospects. Once the Top 30 is created and added to the team. I'll begin re-rating every player from MLB all the way down to the 18 year old in A ball. My re-rates are based off of 2019 production to date. So Lucas Giolito (for example) will go from a 72 overall to an 88 overall.

I also imported every 1st round pick from the OSFM draft roster into this roster, so that all the 1st round picks from the 2019 draft are included. I've also been able to successfully add every 2nd round pick as well (so far)

Will try and add the top 10-15 international free agent signings to their teams when I'm done, have added the Top 3 for sure already.

I hope SDS adds a custom draft class feature that can be downloaded from the vault similar to what NBA 2k has had and what Madden introduced with last year's game. You sound like you could create a gem every year.
