No you're probably right about Gonzales. It's tough for me to judge the guys who haven't played pro ball yet. I was just trying to get him in AA range since that's likely where he's going unless they taxi squad him. And the secondary position was an oversight, your way works better. Will fix ASAP.

I'm not one to nitpick individual player ratings, but this guy is likely a major piece in the rebuild going forward. Jumped out at me, as a result.

Update in the vault. Transactions thru Maikel Franco signing w/BAL. A bunch of fine tuning. Not gonna do another update until April as I will be coaching Little League most days.

This year, with this roster, All Star Default is gonna be all I need.

This roster's ratings smoothed out everything that I was thinking might need tinkering.

These rosters look pretty good, I’m going to try and start a franchise with them. I have a roster with what I think are the best faces for top 100 prospects that I’ll prob import but your potential ratings look good.

Are the service time and salaries all fixed to start in “2021”?
A quick tweak to balance the rosters is needed, I’ve noticed that when a team has 3-4 players for depth at a position the AI will make weird trades involving top prospects. So sometimes have to convert a few guys into 1B or replace some of the SS heavy teams with outfielders if you can

Salaries are updated. Yeah I edited a lot of stances/deliveries. Service time I left alone because it didn't make sense to bump anyone's time when starting a franchise still starts you in 2020.

Cool, well I will update the service time as I’d like to start as if it’s 2021. I’ll make a file and upload just so you can have 2 copies just in case u wanted.

PS I hate how good some of your CAPs turned out as I spent some time editing some of them and will probably just use most of yours (ex. Jordan Groshans , Bobby Witt) lol.

There's plenty that's been re-rated with this roster.

For instance:

A lot of sets have either power or solid hits below default (4), but with this set, I'm not seeing the need to go down that road.

Same with starter stamina. Bumping it to six, like I've done in years past, doesn't look as necessary.

Fielding looks fluid to me with both speed and reaction at default. I often dropped at least reaction to 4.

Injuries look like they're likely to occur more frequently at default than usual, due to re-rated durability.

I used to also mess with both CPU and HUM consistency to get accurate strike percentages.
I'm currently seeing that at default.

Same with foul frequency.

So:

First time I'm rolling with pure default and getting the stats and seeing the fluidity of animation that I usually have to tweak sliders to get.

Your experience may be different, but that's mine so far.

Yeah I've never messed with sliders at all, and I've played this game since the 989 days when times were simpler. I'm old school I suppose. Now EA's NHL series is a different story. That game is unplayable without sliders, but at least with Show20 it plays fine on default once you get rid of the 100+ ratings they kept in the game for DD cards.

This makes total sense. I started my franchise with this roster and slider set I had been rolling with since last summer. It played waaaaaaay different lol. Which isn’t a bad thing. Other than me yelling at my tv. 😂

I was thinking about just going back to default all and if I HAD to, tweak a thing here and there.

I might start over with all default cuz some of these games got out of hand and weren’t realistic which bothers me for some reason. But I am 20 games in already and I injured everyone who’s out until June. Which brings me to another thing why don’t they have a 60 day injury? It goes from I think 45 to 70 with no in between. It’s aggravating lol.

I was directed here by Armor. I pulled your roster a couple of nights ago and combed through it. This might be the best up-to-date roster that I've ever seen in any sports game. I'm going against your OP here, but man, you did a bang-up job on this. Thanks for sharing.
