Re: Players missing in MLB 22 roster
I am waiting for Ken Giles to show back up to start my Mariners franchise. Any idea when he will be back in the game? He has a major league contract and is currently on the IL. I was expecting to find him in single A since he is hurt but no luck.Comment

Re: Players missing in MLB 22 roster
He won't be in the game for a few months. He has to come off the IL and pitch in agame first to become eligible once again.Comment

Re: Players missing in MLB 22 roster
Well I hope we get audio from Kwan seeing he has had a incredible week he might be paid attention now.
I think his Audio will update if you already started a franchise right if it is the same SDS player ID should be fine? or maybe audio is linked to a roster file therefore it won't (really annoying if that is how it is)Comment

Re: Players missing in MLB 22 roster
He shouldn't have to. He was on the 60 day IL, so he still got service time and should be able to be in the game, same as Mike Soroka. It's just suspended guys that should be getting removed. It's weird that he's not even in the free agent pool.

Re: Players missing in MLB 22 roster
Neither has Mike Soroka, and he's in the game. Neither had Justin Verlander, and he's in the game. Kirby Yates is another. I'm saying there's no reason for it to be an approval thing. Other players in the exact same circumstance are still in the game. It's very possible it's just an error

Re: Players missing in MLB 22 roster
My question is … why are approvals done on a yearly basis? Once a player has been approved in the past, why does he have to be approved again? Seems like a waste of time and a backwards way to approach it.Comment

Re: Players missing in MLB 22 roster
It's always been that way. The approval process comes from MLB and the MLBPA. They do approvals on a yearly basis. It's how the CBA works and how being a member of the MLBPA works. This isn't a Sony thing it's a league thing. People don't understand it and that's fine the league doesn't care. It's their operating procedures and just how they do business. It is what it is. Sony receives a list every year of who is approved and who is not. If they want a specific player in the game they have to submit an approval request for that specific player and MLB gets back to them with a yes or no.Comment
