Think of it as a first basic roster and feel free to edit things. But please don't complain about 'things that are changed on their own'. Give me feedback or create your own 2.0 version instead of thisComment

Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: MLB 22
Hi guys, I just picked up 22 from a friend, I played 20 a lot a couple of years ago. I'm trying to find this roster (or any roster) that has at least most of the off season rosters pretty close to where we are today. Is that what this roster is, and if so, how to I search for it? Sorry it's been 2 years since I've touched the Show.
Thanks for any help. I'm a Reds fan and really want to play without Tommy Pham and Mike Moustakas among others lol.Comment

Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: MLB 22
Nevermind, I remembered that you have to load the roster before you start Franchise mode, I've got them downloaded now. Great to see a bunch of players I know very little about, but matching the current 40 man roster IRL.
The Reds are gonna suck again this year of course lol.Comment

What I said before. In such a short time I've edited so many players that you can also imagine that sometimes it is human work. Besides I am also the first tot point out that this whas just a first roster where I merged Ridin Roster with all the latest moves with the data from Cycloniac.

Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: MLB 22
Cy bud… When you do Brewers, can you include Jake Cousins and Peter Strzelecki?
Both are gonna be big pieces of bullpen this year.

Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: MLB 22
Sorry, one more question on Brewers… Do you plan on adding prospects to your spreadsheet?
Asking specifically about Turang, Frelick, Mitchell, Wiemer and Chourio.
Guessing Mitchell and Turang may both be on Hitters part of sheet for Brewers since both will probably will play a bunch this year.
Then Frelick, Wiemer and Chourio on prospects part of sheet.

Mitchell meets his threshold so he should def be on the hitter part of the spreadsheet whenever he does the rest of the Brewers hitters. As for Turang and others I guess just use ridinrosters's version of them. I think ridinrosters has Turang with like 20 Power and like 55ish Contact so it is frustrating want something closer to the real thing since Turang is currently projected to start verses RHPs. As a Brewers fan do you know if Turang really projected that low of Power?Comment

Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: MLB 22
Alec Burleson (STL) - 53 PAs
Miguel Vargas (LAD) - 50
Luis Campusano (SDP) - 50
Will Brennan (CLE) - 45 [56 including postseason]
*Brett Baty (NYM) - 42
*Royce Lewis (MIN) - 41
*Jeter Downs (WSN) - 41
Ji Hwan Bae (PIT) - 37
Ezequiel Tovar (COL) - 35
David Hensley (HOU) - 34
Dalton Guthrie (PHI) - 28
Korey Lee (HOU) - 26
Royce Lewis isn't projected to make Opening Day roster because I think he's still recovering from an injury but he's projected to finish the season with almost 300 PAs. Baty and Downs also currently aren't projected to make the Opening Day roster.
If most of these you still won't do then do you usually add players to the spreadsheet early after the season starts?Comment

Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: MLB 22
I know you mentioned the 50 PA threshold for hitters, but wondered if you could consider a few of the players below the threshold to be an exception to that rule since they are currently projected to be on the Opening Day roster by FanGraphs.

There will be new tabs for prospects added to the sheet once I finish the major league guys.Comment
