Is there anything I can do to help? Anything tedious that you could use a help for? Like for putting together defensive or player speed stats? I enjoy doing this stuff for baseball.

Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: MLB 22
If there was a way to start gathering:
-splits from last 3 years, pitching stats etc (via baseball ref)
that could trim time for meComment

Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: MLB 22
for 2023 you already did some Guardians players including Will Benson. was just going to confirm that is indeed suppose to be Will Benson's stats and not his teammate, Will Brennan's stats. could be easier to go ahead and get both done so there isn't further confusionComment

Brennan didn't have enough PAs. I usually do major leaguers with at least 50 to start.Comment

Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: MLB 22
Trying to plug your numbers in to update pitchers. I see for pitch types you have listed the MPH of the pitch instead of the Velocity slider number and looks like you try to get the Velocity slider to move until it hits the MPH of the pitch on the display above the Velocity slider.... so for example if the pitch is 98 MPH you will have slider at like 92... but slider numbers 91 through 96 would also keep it at 98 MPH... how do you determine which slider number to use when you have several numbers that will get you 98 MPH?Comment

Any slider number is fine. As long as it reaches the MPH target, it's fineComment

Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: MLB 22
But for more information the following. When I edited the pitcher velocity I have always used the Cycloniac Excel sheet or additionally MLB statcast. Say for pitcher X he has a 87 MPH pitch and the velocity sliders are 81 tot 87 and MLB statcast say he has a 87.8 pitch, I'll give him a slider 86 for velocity. Otherwise when MLB statcast say he has a 87.2 pitch I'll go for a slider 82.
For clarification: Per slider is about approximately 0.2 MPH velocity. So when this pitcher has a 87.0 MPH pitch it's 81. 87.2 MPH it's 82 and so on.Comment

Hi Simsbad, in a short time I edited all possible players. So roughly all 80 players per team. So to be honest I may have missed a few details or stats. Or Ridin's stat are maybe maintained instead of Cycloniac.
