I may have missed it, but I don’t see Konnor Griffin in the file. Pirates #2 prospect SS/CF. Thanks!

Except for the Braves, a couple of their late top 30 guys had to be let go to make room for players who have service time in the majors.
Will post a spreadsheet detailing every player that was released to make room for other players who are also on the same team on release day. Same with transactions post opening day up to that point of release.Comment

Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: MLB 25
Is Elly DLC 's speed correct at 90, or is that a typo? Bobby Witt Jr. is at 97? Arguably the 2 fastest in the game, along with Lockridge and Buxton, but that's quite the differential. Just something I noticed in the spreadsheet and thought I'd bring it up. Thanks.
Edit: just saw the stat cast Savant ratings. Damn. There IS quite the differential. Nvm then. Lol. I'll go sit in the corner.Comment

Question: Will you be modifying FA ratings at all? For example, I would think if JD Martinez were actually a 78 and Dave Robertson a 77, they’d be on someone’s team right now. Just curious.Comment

from Savant, between Cruz at 3.72 and a guy at 4.22 we have ~460 players in between. From what I understand this is their best time.
Maybe he meant .05 though. Cruz was 3.72 and Witt 3.76Comment

Edit: I was being lazy and looked it up. Doesn't appear directly relevant to sprint speed. Man..all these values are driving me crazy lol.Comment

Cy, can Connor Thomas be added to spreadsheet?
Also, can you post link for final spreadsheet when you have it completed?

Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: MLB 25
They said earlier in the threat that the speed reading is (Sprint Speed)*13-300. That formula seems to be based on 30.7 ft/s (the fastest going back to 2018) being 99 speed, and anything 23 ft/s or slower is 0 speed (there have been quite a few guys slower than that over the years). So 30.5 ft/s comes out to 96.5. DLC's 30 ft/s comes out to 90.
Even if you just did it on a simple scale, where 30.9 ft/s (fastest in the statcast era, Victor Robles in 2018 and Byron Buxton in 2015) was 99 speed and 21.8 (slowest in the statcast era, Yadi Molina in 2022) was 0 speed, Witt would still be 96 speed and DLC would be 90 speed. So a different method gets the same results on the top end of the scale.
