Yes - as brought up by P.A.D. last page, the one slight problem I've always had with The Show is that 'comeback' factor. If I'm a few runs up towards the final inninings, and dominating throughout, it's often the case that they will pull out some runs somehow, be it by sudden majestic hitting or my fielders suddenly commiting cheap errors.. I'm glad to know it's not just me who's noticed this.. but is there a way to tone this 'MLB elastic banding' down?

Re: TNK 2015 Sliders
Looking at your set TNK i use just about the same exact settings that you do even the custom camera angle. In fact ive used your sets just about every year for The Show and used to pick your brain all the time (i havent been on OS in 2 years as a member, my profile was Rickymets75 but i lost the password) Anyway my only questions are will this set of sliders work okay using Directional "Timed" hitting with PCI off? And can i use the set with Veteran hitting at first to shake off my rust before using All Star for hitting? Sorry if someone asked this already these are the only settings i use differently (Timing hitting w/ veteran difficulty) Thanks in advance and for working on making the game more enjoyable every year!Fortis et fidusComment

Re: TNK 2015 Sliders
TNK, thanks for all of your hard work with these. Definitely wasn't trying to pile on, just voicing some issues I had with these sliders as they were otherwise SOLID for sure.
I'll try and get some games in today and post some results. My biggest challenges with these again were:
*Not enough user batting strikeouts/swings and misses
*User pitching is WAY too easy/forgiving, as PDA mentions as well
Is the first thread most accurate? Different from the vault I notice, and not sure if all of the changes you've casually mentioned previously have been updated.

I stick with the set in post #1 and don't want to start experimenting with different mechanics of hitting/pitching

Re: TNK 2015 Sliders
So I've never used your sliders before, but I wanted to give them a shot because I've been a little out of my element ever since they got rid of the old analog hitting. I loaded up Yankees/Redsox at the Stadium. I chose to play with the Sox so I could make the custom camera right off the bat. The Camera Angle is amazing. I'm upset that I didn't start using it sooner. Things that I've noticed
- CPU is a little aggressive when it comes to swinging. Not that I mind it in particular, the default settings give them Bondsian plate discipline. I threw a complete game with Rick Porcello and finished around 80 pitches
- Solid hits needs to be upped a tick in my opinion. I'm working with a small sample size here but I noticed that the ball just wasn't traveling far enough. It could be me, I might just be used to the default settings.

Re: TNK 2015 Sliders
Hi TNK ..... I have only been playing the show for 3 or so years. Work takes up a lot of my free time. I tried to do a franchise last year...playing 1 game, swimming 8 or so...basically I played about 20 games for just a 1 yr franchise. I was using A&S sliders, but my pitching was great and my hitting not so good, maybe 4-5 hits per game. And not many runs. To sum it all up,would you say that your slider set may have a little more offense for CPU and HUM , than A & S set ? Thanks in advance !!Comment

Re: TNK 2015 Sliders
TNK - EXHIBITION GAME
Boston Red Sox @ Tampa Bay Rays
Pitching Matchup - Joe Kelly vs. Jake Odorizzi
Game was played using the updated sliders in post #1 of the thread
Joe Kelly and Jake Odorizzi both gave their team quality starts in this one. The teams traded runs in the 3rd inning on a solo shot from Ortiz put Boston up 1-0 before the Rays got an RBI double from Longoria to tie the score at 1-1. The Red Sox and Rays would each have chances to score but stranded runners on the base paths and the game would remain a 1-1 contest through 7 innings. Mookie Betts made a bid for a go ahead HR in the top of the 8th but the ball would hit the top of the wall in CF resulting in a triple for Betts. Betts would be stranded at 3rd though as Pablo Sandoval grounded out with runners on the corners to end the inning and keep the score 1-1. Tampa Bay would have runners on the corners with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th but Junichi Tazawa would get Forsythe to pop out to end the threat and send the game to extra innings tied at 1-1. Mookie Betts doubled down the LF line with 1 out in the top of the 10th but Boxberger would get Pedroia to fly out and Ortiz to ground out as the Red Sox have stranded a small village in this game. The Rays got a leadoff double by Jennings to begin the bottom of the 10th and moved over to 3rd when Kiermaier grounded out to Pedroia to put the winning run on 3rd base with 1 out and Longoria coming up. Robbie Ross would intentionally walk Evan Longoria to put runners on the corners and take a shot with the lefty on lefty matchup against James Loney. Loney tried to lay down a squeeze to win the game but missed the bunt attempt on a nasty slider by Ross that darted out of the zone and Jennings was dead meat at the plate for the 2nd out. Ross would then get Loney to fly out to CF to end the inning and send this game to the 11th. Mike Napoli would put the Red Sox on top 2-1 in the top of the 11th when Boxberger left a slider up in the zone that Napoli crushed 411 feet deep in to the LF stands for a solo HR. Edwin Mujica would come on looking to close it out and got the first batter of the inning before back to back singles by Jaso and Franklin put the tying and winning runs on base for Tampa with 1 out. Curt Casali pinch came up as a pinch hitter and hit a high chopper back to Mujica on the mound who threw to 2nd for one out but the turn to 1st base by Pedroia was not in time as Casali just beat the throw to keep the game alive for Tampa Bay giving the Rays runners on the corners with 2 outs. Logan Forsythe came up with the game on the line and fell behind 0-2 before reaching for a good splitter from Mujica low and away and poking it into RF for a RBI single to tie the game at 2-2. Mujica would get Jennings to ground out to end the inning and the game would head to the 12th inning. Xander Bogaerts drew a walk to begin the 12th inning and moved into scoring position on a sac bunt by Sandy Leon but Betts and Pedroia would both fly out and the score would remain 2-2.
I decided to end the game after 12 innings.......I just had to end it, wanted to start a new game with a new opponent in a new stadium
* This was a very fun game that had me on the edge of my seat, lots of runners left in scoring position, some pretty double plays, fair amount of extra base hits, pitchers making some great pitches in tough spots, etc.
* Man the offspeed pitches are deadly this year.....it's so hard to stay back on a changeup or breaking ball. I'm sure this will get better with time as we all become more comfortable with the bats. It's definitely an adjustment as they seemed to come in a bit quicker last year.
* I'm not reading too much into the low score!!! There were plenty of hits and scoring opportunities to be had. This game could have easily been in the 5-4 or 6-5 range
* There were a lot of things to like about this game.....many things "felt" really good. I'm anxious to see what kind of offense I see in my next few games.
* I'm asking you guys to play multiple games - please don't rush to judgement based on a game or two in any facet of the game. There is just too much variety and trust me, we want variety!! We don't want the game to feel cookie cutter. That's why I'm asking you to really analyze the sliders in 5 to 10 game sample sizes. You could mash one day and say there is too much offense, then turn around and your next game is like this one where runs were hard to come by and say that it needs more offense.
