Hey TNK love the sliders...always have used them....not at home in fact away on business...I have started a chise with version 1...can you tell me quickly the difference between this and version 2...if not I can look when i get home what they are by going through the slider set

TNK and others,

I have been going back and forth with directional hitting and zone. One time I like directional, then I don't....the I go to Zone, like it then I don't...I am trying to settle on one.

Very curious as to why everyone is using what they are? Both seem to work with sliders, I just can't decide which I like better and is more realistic.

What i was asking was what did you change from Version 2 to 1...is it worth me starting over....I will just look at version 1 compared to this when i get home ...tahnks

I don't have a detailed timeline without searching through the posts on the thread......there were enough tweaks where you should either
A) download the new version
or
B) look at post #1 and adjust

Opening day Redsox franchise, Cole Hamels goes deep in the 3rd inning to make it 2-0... FML. LOL had to quit and save 4th inning, will report back after I finish with more.

Are you using the exact v2 slider settings found on page #1?

Power at "4" & not "5"... This is encouraging!

Hey TNK!

Just got '15 tonight and LOVED your set from last year. Played 5 full franchise seasons and had an absolute blast with them.

Just curious this year what differences there are in your sliders from last year? Is there anything vets from years past should be aware of or that stands out?

One big difference is the change in year.......other than that it's the same goal as every other year, get the sliders to give best games of baseball with a focus on variety and realism

Power at "4" & not "5"... This is encouraging!

Downloaded v2 straight from vault and checked. Power is at 4. Was 3-2 count.. Threw a curve inside and low and he jacked it. Thought nothing of it until they said Hamels hit it.. I was ashamed.

FWIW I was using the Phillies and hit a double with Hamels. Lined shot into the gap in left center. I laughed out loud when I hit it.

I guess I mean are you noticing the AI and/or game in general doing anything differently from last year?

Or is it basically the same game on the field?

The game improves every year......personally, I think it's a little harder this year and you have to force yourself to be patient at the plate and actually focus on pitching smarter. By pitching smarter I mean:

- Throw balls on purpose - don't try to hit the corner every single pitch
- change speeds and move the ball around
- SET GUYS UP - throw 4 fastball consecutively inside then go away
- don't fall into patterns - the CPU will pick up on your tendencies and patterns

I spent tonight doing equipment edits, double checking all minor league lineups, player assignments, etc.

Should be starting my Red Sox franchise tomorrow night

Thank you T, i have only played two games thus far well three if you count the game i didn't save before turning off my ps4 earlier in the day and i couldn't be happier with things.

For those of you that are NOT using auto fielding you are all missing out on soo much stuff.. you dont see the animations they spent hours on, all the new player stuff... oh my god... i have seen plays that no one that plays manual defense could ever have dreamed of making...

I am only playing on Veteran/Veteran but still love these sliders for how they have changed the game on so many levels. I will say that i am far from the best hitter that has ever played this game but i think i am getting better...

i have seen my swing percentage in my last three games with these sliders go from 95 down to 83. which may not seem like a lot for some but for me that is huge... very very huge.

My first game i scored 2 runs and lost, my second game, which was a replay of my deleted game before it i lost 4-0. then i won my last game 2-0.

This is the first time i have ever really embraced any slider set since 08 was here. I am looking forward to a very challenging, sometimes frustrating (due to my lack of plate discipline) great season.

Two thumbs up on this set.. the only thing i adjusted was pitch speed back down to 5.
