I have not changed the difficulty for anything. Actually, lately I've been using auto fielding and throwing and it's been great.

Made a few changes to help increase the following:

      *User strikeouts while pitching
*More wild pitches and passed balls** for both sides, while keeping the rest of the pitching stats in line for AI
Nerf the AI offense a bit

**I am the only team to have not been hit by a pitch yet. There are a handful of teams with just one, so not too badly off.

In case it helps, here are my scores thus far through 10 games.

      7-3 L
      5-2 L
      7-3 W
      7-4 W
      15-4 L
      7-4 W
      5-2 W
      6-4 W
      5-2 L
      9-8 W

      6-4 Overall.

Very happy with the latest changes I mentioned. Just had the best game from a statistical standpoint I've had in '15.

Actually lost the game 4-0 to a red hot Hector Noesi.

I'll go and test some game with contact still at 6 but timing at 3. Trying to fool the AI with change of speed.

Sliders are holding up for me very well. Challenging and realistic results, with a variety of unique games.

Update some settings based on patch 1.02.

Just played my first game post-patch, and it was incredible.

3-2 win after Price got hurt off a line drive on the second batter of the game.

Rajai Davis gets 2 steals as a pinch runner in the 8th and scores on a single for the winning run.

I was sweating as Joe Nathan got the save!

No home runs for either teams.

Getting perfect ball/strike ratios, first pitch strikes percentages, foul ball percentages, etc..

Made three changes to reliever stamina for both sides and manager hook.

Streaming today's game now...made a few small changes which I'll post after the game if they look ok.

Lowered pitcher consistency for both sides, and lowered AI solid hits.

Ugh my Tigers lose their 5th in a row. We're now 11-16, 8 games out of first, and dead last in the division!

I've made a few more adjustments--mostly trying to get more user walks while pitching, and more HBP for user hitters since this is the one area SCEA is WAY off the mark with. Far too few HBP.

I'm starting to think there is something wrong with hall of fame difficulty. The game just doesn't play realistically at all on this level and I myself am considering going down to all star.

I love HoF. It makes you work, and think, and it's a true, realistic challenge.

All Star isn't cut throat enough on either side for the AI. I'm never frightened by them, and it's boring.
