Hi Armor and guys. A couple of more quick questions with this set. I have API ON which is where my catcher calls for a certain locations and certain pitches he wants thrown. I'm trying more and more to throw where my catcher wants it. I normally pitch my own game and what I feel 90 % of the time. I'm pretty decent at pitching this way.... Should I start to listen to my catcher more ? When my catcher calls for certain pitches/locations.... does my catcher know the batters strengths and weaknesses ? What percent are you guys pitching on your own or threw the catcher ? Thanks in advance for any help out there !!
I like setting my hitters up. I look at it as I am not only pitching but also playing pseudo catcher in regards to location of the pitch. It's just my preference and I enjoy playing that way. I will shake off his pitch suggestions though at least 10-15% of the time.
I suggest you play whatever way you get the most enjoyment out of the game.Now Playing on PS5:

Is anybody seeing any differences with the patch after having some time with it? I played the first two games of a Yankee season and Altuve twice hit soft ground balls right at Gregorius at short that he beat both out for infield singles. I get Altuve is very fast out of the box but these are plays that need to be made, they were hit directly at him and they weren't choppers. Has anybody else seen this with the elite speedsters?Now Playing on PS5:

Armor, I recently switched over from XBOX ONE to a PS4 and have used your sliders for Madden extensively through the years. I am using your sliders for my Reds franchise and I have begun a RTTS as a pitcher. Will your sliders work as well for RTTS or is there a different setup for that feature? I appreciate you and anyone else who may have insight to my question.Comment

I have API on default and for AS level or higher all you get first is what pitch the catcher calls for. If you want location pull back the R2 button for the pitch and location. I decide 95% of the time where I will throw the pitch. I also listen to my catcher 90% of the time on which pitch to throw (as opposed to asking for the location as well).

Yeah I only use directional is as a situational tool. For example when I must get the ball in the air (push up) or make sure I hit it into the ground. Other than that I use old fashions timed (no pushing the stick anywhere). I get plenty of hit variety. More than ever on this version of the game.Now Playing on PS5:

Ok great thanks again !!! Armor,what differences will I see for a tiny bit more HUM offense.... If I put HUM Timing to 6 vs HUM Contact to 6 ?? U suggested upping Contact to 6. Timing to 6 will be too much HUM offense you think? I'm trying to find my "sweet spot" ... Thanks again !Now Playing on PS5:

With single team, trades are still going to happen that, if you're bothered by that kind of thing, you're not gonna like. That's not going to change because no matter what some of the AI's decisions about the players are (keeping in mind that it doesn't see names, only the team needs and a bunch of ratings representing a player's ability), people are going to disagree.
If that doesn't bother you (it doesn't for me, personally), single team becomes a much more viable option.

The reason I rolled with 30 team in proper franchises is for trade integrity (and it is not that bad most of the time IMO) but also it allows me to jump to other teams If I want to. Other than that single team is fine.Last edited by Armor and Sword; 05-04-2016, 02:13 PM.Now Playing on PS5:
