Anyone that switched to Hall of Fame have advice on what sliders to change? I am very frustrated with one thing since I made the switch. With one of my power hitters (This has happened multiple times since I made the switch with different hitters but not to this degree) I had 4 green Good timing swings on pitches right down the middle and fouled every single one of them off. Im not talking deep foul balls im talking barely making contact.

Thinking about boosting up the solid hits slider but not sure.

Now that I finally found the right combination of sliders for the CPU, I'm struggling to find a good middle ground for HUM hitting. Through 61 games in hitting a whopping. 224. I feel like I get too many hits or not enough hits when I adjust the sliders. Right now I'm going with 5, 5, 4, 0, 5. I have timing at 4 and foul frequency at 0 to help with my strikeouts. I moved FF up to 1 in the middle of my last game and was I started hitting a lot better. I don't want it to effect my strikes out though. Right now I'm ranked 14th in strikeouts.

Try raising fastball speed by 1 or 2. That will definitely cause more strikeouts without throwing anything else off. Usually works for me.

I have it set to 9, I guess I'll go up to 10. Thanks for the advice.

What are your hitting sliders currently set at?

I'm using 6/4/3/1/5, and still hitting a few too many HR's. I wonder if dropping power to 3 would be the answer. But, I don't want to affect extra base hits too much. Or perhaps drop timing down to 1 or 2. I'm still not exactly certain what that slider does. I understand it affects the timing window. But, what tangible effect does it have on batted balls? If I drop timing, what does it mean? Lower average? Less power? Fewer extra base hits? I really don't know.

So I'm having trouble hitting with these on All-Star. Go down to Veteran or bump up Contact/Timing?

I think bumping contact to 6, could solve a lot of your issues. But, that would also decrease your strikeout numbers. A roundabout way to deal with that, would be to manually edit the plate vision rating for your players. Not ideal, obviously. But should do the trick.

I've just made the switch the other way from veteran to all star. Im finding all star more difficult but far more satisfying and realistic in terms of how the game plays, stats and result variety. I've tinkered with Armors sliders for years and if you want to make hitting a bit easier I would start by lowering the pitch speeds a notch. Otherwise raising human timing is something that has always worked for me. FYI I'm using the Hybrid v2 rosters playing as the Cubs (great equipment edits!) using the exact Armors sliders with pitch speeds lowered a notch. For me with this combination its the best the game has ever played.

Need some help it doesn't seem like I score enough runs like teams do in real life and the CPU does with SIM games..what should I do?

I typically do QC with DD and it puts me at Veteran+, any recommendations on sliders for that particular level? Since you can't get it there outside of DD.

I'd also love a recommendation on Veteran batting settings similar to previous years. A little easier timing window, but with the AI still throwing balls.
