Re: Armor & Sword & Marino's MLB The Show 16 Timed/Classic Simulation Sliders
Using these sliders in my Yankees franchise and they are great. Really mix up the results. One game i may hit them for 4 runs in the first inning and end up blowing them out. Then next game struggle to get a hit at all.
Also finding that it brought the amount of strike outs I'm getting back closer to reality, but i still think i have to mess with it a little

Re: Armor & Sword & Marino's MLB The Show 16 Timed/Classic Simulation Sliders
In my played games I'm not seeing enough cpu runners tagging up to advance bases on fly balls and when they do they are getting thrown out which is effecting runs scored. Also I seem to throw out 1 or 2 runners at home a game very easily to where the runner is only half way there when the ball gets to the plate. Can these be fixes with slider adjustments.Comment

Lower outfield arm strength by -1 till you feel like they aren't getting thrown out as much is my advice

Armor for some reason I still have seen zero trades around the league occur with the trade slider turned up to 8. Is everyone else seeing them?Comment

Re: Armor & Sword & Marino's MLB The Show 16 Timed/Classic Simulation Sliders
Excellent job with your sliders!
Played all game of spring training with my 1987 Montréal Expos. .256 of batting average, ERA at 3.55. Pitching is on HOF.
7 game played in my season. My team BA is high at .306 but I played three game against the Marlins. My ERA is at 3.60 (only 1 quality start). So I think my stats will be realistic. Good job! and already one trade with the slider at 10.
One small question. I know that there are too many double plays in the game, but I've hit in 14 double plays in only 7 games. Do you think it's related with baserunning speed? I also have problems with base stealing, even with Tim Raines.
Thank you!Comment

Re: Armor & Sword & Marino's MLB The Show 16 Timed/Classic Simulation Sliders
That's probably part of it, especially for the faster guys like Raines.
They move around the bases entirely too slow. It doesn't solve the problem, but speedsters might hit into quite a bit fewer unless it's a tailor-made grounder (or a hard one right at someone for a quick turn).
You can always increase throwing arms by the same amount you raise baserunner speed, especially infield arms, if you're afraid of too many infield hits. The main thing with GIDPs is the batter-runner getting down the line quickly, so I don't think infield throwing arms will do too much to impact that since the throws to turn DPs are mostly short anyway, no more than about 90 feet (5-4-3, the return throw from 2B to 1B, or SS deep in the hole trying to get one started)."Some people call it butterflies, but to him, it probably feels like pterodactyls in his stomach." --Plesac in MLB18Comment
