They have got to fix the wild pitch issue, I can cope with the HR's but wild pitches are starting to ruin games. I went through and looked and I've thrown 83 wild pitches in 61 games (1.36 per) with the MLB average being 0.37 per. I don't see how this continues to get overlooked. I mean that's 3.5x the real life average, I am completely dumbfounded how patches get released and this is never even a foot note let alone addressed. I'm not even trying to bury pitches in the dirt and it continues to happen regardless, sliders outside that somehow end up past the catcher and to the backstop, sinkers down that don't even make it to home plate and skip between the catchers legs to the backstop, hell I've thrown wild pitches on fastballs that I'm throwing middle in and had them bounce in front of the plate, it makes no sense. Throw in the times when it doesn't skip by the catcher yet the catcher has no urgency to throw the advancing runner out anyways and it might as well have skipped to the backstop regardless as the outcome is the same. No team in the league has a pitcher with more then 4 and I've got 8 guys with more then 4, 3 guys with 10+. Has anyone figured out a way to offset this? I'm about to edit my catchers to a 99 block and see if that helps as the CPU is getting far too many cheap runs off of wild pitches.
Side question for you Armor, would raising control and consistency for the user back to default cause a lot of issues with the CPU offense? I ask because the CPU doesn't have nearly as many issues throwing wild pitches with those settings at default (4 in 7 games = 0.57 per) but as noted above mine are through the roof and 61 games is a pretty large sample size at this point. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
