Just realized Legend pitching!!

Mike, will I struggle on Legend? I'm currently pitching on HOF.

I use to pitch on HOF pitching and made the switch and really can't tell the difference besides the meter being a hair faster but you should do just fine wouldn't hurt to try it out man.

I've found a good sweet spot for me on hitting that is just one or two tweeks from these sliders but how is everyone the power up at 5 on legend? I played two games last night and was getting absolute rockets hit off me no matter where the pitch was. EVERY ball was hit hard whether out or not. 2 games isn't much I know but just wanted to see what others are seeing as I was feeling pretty good with one of the previous version so on legend

I made the switch and it takes a few games to adjust. But I had a league best ERA with the brewers staff thru 20 games on HOF. It was just over 3.00. I'm definitely better at pitching than hitting but I think it's worth trying it. The biggest difference to me is it's tough to get strikeouts. You can't just get 2 strikes and then throw a sweeping slider for a swing and miss. Have to use multiple pitches to get guys out

Last game in my series with the Yankees. They beat me 9-1 w/o the longball! They ended up with 4 doubles and a triple and had a 5 run top of the ninth inning. Their BABIP was .429

I had a BABIP of .269 with 1 run on 6 hits. EE missed a grand slam by inches that just went foul in bottom of the 7th.

My last 2 games I haven't seen as much user power, which is a good sign compared to my first game with this set.

*My last 3 games were used with QC as I wanted to see if the "SP being pulled too early" bug was fixed. Everything looks better in that aspect. I'll probably play a mix of QC and non QC games throughout the rest of my franchise since this seems to be fixed.

Struggling with Timing on zero. I would call myself an average hitter, I have games where I score 9 on 15 hits and shutout games with 2 hits. Like real baseball, I enjoy that. But I've played about 5 games on the new 2.0 and I've had like 2 hits a game, with like 7 walks a game. I'm not seeing hardly any hit-able pitches, and when I do I can't seem to get the timing down. Maybe I'm just terrible all the sudden. Is anyone else struggling to get hits with timing on zero?

This is not a complaint, I love what Mike does, and have used these sliders for the past few years, I am just curious about other people's results with 2.0 cause it's possible I suck now lol. BTW, congrats Mike on getting paired up with Ridin, that is dope.

Mike, just a couple thoughts I'm tinkering with:

+1 human power, -1 human solid hits. I haven't hit a homerun in 3 games l, which I'm okay with but I don't feel like I'm getting rewarded for squaring up balls with the PCI.

+1 fielder reaction. I use manual fielding and can't get my infielders to move on balls. I like where the speed is for the outfielders.

Haven't done it yet but maybe -1 to baserunner speed. I've seen a couple double plays that should've have been successfully turned on hard hit ground balls.

Let me know what you think. Again, I know everybody's skill level is different and I particularly struggle at hitting. I also pitch to contact so having my fielders realistically be able to get to balls is important.

I was tinkering with power and solid hits. Never thought that maybe timing was affecting me. I might bump this and see what happens.

I'm finding pretty much everything great except for two things :

1. I'm not gaining enough walks. I believe the reason is not enough foul balls? Pretty much every time I make contact it results in either a hit or a popup. Anyone else experiencing the same?

2. Stealing... After going 100% with the double pressing method I'm trying to establish house rules. Do you guys hold and release for manual steal? The problem I'm facing with mentioned style is an enormous delay from when I release til the runner takes off! Only way to get a good leadoff is if I release before the pitcher starts his motion and he just so happens to wind up as I go off.

Mike, a side note, why don't u work with or for MLB the show.? I mean they could give u the patches early and u could work out the sliders then get us on it. I love what u do but I think u should be on their payroll lol [emoji23] just a thought bro!!

The hold and release wasn't working for me either. I'd let go and the runner moving was still delayed.
