    To piggy back onto this...

WHO should feel more honored here? You? Or, "RidenDwnKingsley"?

Jokes aside, you two ARE the very best at what you guys do...

I'm fouling the ball off a bunch and getting tons of walks

+1 human power, -1 human solid hits. I haven't hit a homerun in 3 games l, which I'm okay with but I don't feel like I'm getting rewarded for squaring up balls with the PCI.

+1 fielder reaction. I use manual fielding and can't get my infielders to move on balls. I like where the speed is for the outfielders.

Haven't done it yet but maybe -1 to baserunner speed. I've seen a couple double plays that should've have been successfully turned on hard hit ground balls.

Let me know what you think. Again, I know everybody's skill level is different and I particularly struggle at hitting. I also pitch to contact so having my fielders realistically be able to get to balls is important.
I have also been thinking power 5, solids 6 and was hoping to run a couple of games this evening. Freeman still mashing, 15 home runs in 34 games in my franchise, next best 3 home runs, Jace Petersen (of all people).

Been experimenting with power 5 solids 5 to get some extra pop but not scream everything and looked at the 'swing results' section after the last few games and found I only hit 4 line drives in 34 at bats in one game and 5 in 32 in the other. I don't know if this is actually a good ratio, but I do know that in my last game I hit about 15 fly balls, so wonder if that one tick of solid hits might help even that out.

I also only just implemented the run speed 1/reaction 2 and (after only 2 games) wonder if reaction needs a + 1 as have had a couple of AI fielding reaction times which have just looked weird eg. left fielder just standing still facing the infield whilst a ball sails over his head, and then turning round and running after it...!

Took the plunge on the legend pitching as well and am enjoying the challenge! Overall, feel like these are REALLY close now post 1.05

        EDIT:
looked at some stats from fangraphs which might be interesting to incorporate in our analysis as we go. These are the % of various hit types on balls put in play for 2017 to date.
        Line drives: 20%
        Ground balls: 44.4%
        Fly balls: 35.6%
        Infield flys: 9.6%
        HR/Fly: 12.9%

these will be more directly impacted by our PCI positioning than anything else, so will vary, but for people who feel like everything is a pop up or you're not squaring up enough, these might be useful/interesting

Mike Lowe MLB The Show '17 Sliders

              Frustration level: 100.

I've lost 5 straight 1 run games. I kid you not the CPU has only scored if trailing or the game is tied. If the controllers weren't so expensive I'd be headed to buy a new one today after the damage I'd do to this one.

Mike, your sliders are giving me fits.

For #1, I'm still seeing a tick above the average for foul balls, and I don't mind it because it limits the number of weak contact hits being put in play, thus raising our BABIP. I have a bad habit of dropping my cursor low in the zone, even when a pitch is coming in high where I have my cursor AIMED! lol

Point being, give it some more time--I think we'll find us settling right around that 15% range.

I used to live about 15 minutes from their studio. Regardless, I'd be happy to help, and I wouldn't need another paycheck--I love my job, and it compensates me well

I forgot to follow up on the original #2:

I feel as though this received attention in the patch. I stole 3 bases with Gordon this last game, and I had to be very cautious of the pitchout. He had one bad jump, and I decided to defend it by fouling a pitch off with Yelich.

All I do is just hit L2, assuming just the one guy is on base. Sometimes I take a lead, sometimes not. I also am cautious of any "pickoff artist" quirks.

Definitely more of an honor for me. Ridin and his team put way more work into it, and provides much more for the community. Great stuff!

Ridin and I plan on working together some more in the near future, so stay tuned for that.

This is very useful, albeit just a month into the season. I did hear on a Tigers broadcast that this first month had the highest number of HRs since one of the Bonds/Sosa/McGuire years (forget which one). Something like 1.29 HRs on average.

Small sample sizes, keep in mind.

Fair. Although looks like a trend, there were 701 more homers in 2016 than 15 and 723 more in 15 than in 14...it's the live ball era!

And right along with that increase: More strikeouts. Lots more.
