I was worried that I lost Correa for a significant time due to a finger injury. It said he can miss a couple days to a couple months. After the game it didn’t even come up so he’s fine. I have injuries at 9 and only had players out for 1-6 days.
I actually like injuries at 9 too, but the two issues I saw:

    1) I lost two guys for the season who got hurt on a pick off play.

    2) With a max of only 90 players in your organization, teams will get spread too thin.

I'm actually going to stream right now if anyone's around...MikeLowe47 on YouTube.

Mike, Merry Christmas to YOU and the other contributers to this forum... STILL enjoying this game!

Next time you’re in Novato, CA testing 2K games look me up. I’m 10-mins from there & know of a nice brew house close by...

I know it’s not a big sample size but all star hitting with timing was getting a bit too easy. I would try to increase pitch speed but I would not get enough solid contact. I bumped the difficulty to All Star + and it’s better but my last 2 games I had no doubles or triples. Just home runs and singles. Should I increase something on All Star plus or go back to All Star and lower something? With All Star I was getting the correct ratio of doubles to HR.

There are a few things going on here:

          1) Yes, that's an incredibly small sample size. There are tons of MLB games where there are no doubles or triples.

          2) All Star Plus is not possible with this set. Doubles etc come from your ability to make solid contact and good timing, so I'd do two things:

          Set hitting to hof
          Practice

Once you do that over a larger sample size, you'll see better results.

Re: Mike Lowe MLB The Show '17 Sliders

I'm noticing the pitchers strikes out batters way too much even the lower strikeout pitchers. Even on CPU vs CPU. I have Pelfrey and Hellickson, they both are currently around 1 k per 9 innings. I played a game a while ago, forgot who was pitching but both pitchers had at least 10k within 6 innings. (not high strikeout pitchers too). Not those 2 games, I've seen many games with this slider. What would be the best slider to reduce that?

Mike, are you using 8 for injury when simming?

Thanks Mike! I was concerned about too many in sim causing roster mgmt issues for CPU teams over the course of a full season. Ill give 8 a try.

Agreed. Game plays very nice with these sliders but almost too nice. I’ve loss 7 of my last 8 and now 2 games under .500 and sitting in 3rd in my division with the Tigers. Playing true to life as I’m sitting behind CLE and Minny with Hybrid rosters.

I was like that at first too. Now, even on HoF, my issue has been that my team is just RAKING. We've won another 5 or 6 in a row, and are closing in on the wildcard through the middle of August. I should have this season finished in time for Show '18!

We have a lot of guys who are hot, so I'm not too concerned--it's just a nice run for us.

I've started a franchise with the Nationals. I'm using the OS Realism Opening Day Roster, All-Star Hitting/HoF Pitching.

After a 9-games winning streak, we lost in the Colorado against the Rockies 3-2 and I'm not even mad. x) With 4-5 games left before the end of April, we have only 3 losses. My team is really hot right now.

The variety of matches in this game is just awesome.
