Oh God, I think I've had my best victory with this game.

In my Nationals Franchise, we're currently at the first week of April. After a 9 games winning streak, the end of March was rough with 3 losses in 4 matches and after a 14-9 loss against the Mets to begin April and a day off, we have a 3 games serie against the D-Backs (12-16), at home.

We won the first match 4-0 with a another strong performance by Stephen Strasburg. But, the next day, it reminds me why I love this game.

We took a early 2-0 lead at the end of the 3rd inning until the D'Backs came hot at the 7th with 4 runs. At the end of the inning, we were behind, 4-3. Their closer came at the 9th against the top of the order. Eaton and Turner, out. Then, Harper came at bat and succedeed to draw a walk. So, the next hitter, Zimmerman, is at bat. 2-2 count and BAM, he hit a 429 feets HR and the Nationals came out with the victory ! I celebrated like as I'd won the World Series.

Currently, we are 1st in the NL East with 21-6 records, 2.5 games ahead the Mets.

Between my franchise spreadsheets and your slider set, we could probably show them some really good data!

Wow! Marlins tie the Giants series 1-1 after a 6-run 8th inning leads to a 6-3 win. Bumgarner was dominant through 7 innings.

An MVP moment and great team effort, for sure!

Jarlin Garcia got the start for his MLB debut due to our rotation being a bit dinged up. He struck out 6 over 5.1 IP and gave up 2 ER.

Ramos earns his 27th save.

2 2Bs for Marlins
Stanton 42 HR, 95 RBIs now, both lead MLB and he's currently in the lead for NL MVP.

I need to wrap up this franchise too. Marlins win 3rd game against Giants. At 64-56, we're now 1 game back of a wildcard spot.

I know some folks have asked me about approaches to hitting etc, so I recently uploaded a nearly 40-pitch 1st inning from this Giants game where you can see the PCI interaction etc. It's up on YouTube MikeLowe47

Maybe it's just me getting older, maybe it's just me finding way more enjoyable things to do with my time than PS4, and maybe it's feeling underwhelmed a bit with this series and what's new in '18...

But am I crazy for not wanting to even bother finishing this franchise, even though I'm a game out of a playoff spot with about 35 games to go?

Nah Mike, I could see how it could get a bit tedious playing every pitch of your franchise. I have to give props to you for doing that! I usually finish through at least 1 year of a franchise with each new version of the game, then I get a bit bored with that franchise and look to start another one just to check out new teams/players/stadiums/etc. Then I start looking at another team and franchise to run. It’s a vicious OCD circle lol!

It’s probably good to take a break at this point so that when ‘18 rolls out, you’ll probably be getting the itch to play again. I personally prefer to see you play out your year just to see how it ends, but that’s easy for me to say lol.

I respect whatever you decide and can’t blame you for wanting to step away from your current franchise. I definitely enjoy following along and have appreciated your work with the sliders this year. Hopefully we will get more news that will make ‘18 a bit more exciting to you and you’ll pick it up and roll out another great set of sliders for the upcoming season. I know I’ll be looking forward to it.

Quit while you're ahead, right? As of this morning, this slider set was the highest rated set in the world! Thank you to everyone here who helped by providing feedback, box scores, and just being friendly and talking baseball with me.

With that said, I'm stepping away from the vast majority of my gaming (I'll stick with my sim leagues though), and that includes MLB The Show. Over the past few months, I have really taken a step back from it all and have been doing a lot of other things in my life. It's been very rewarding for me, and I don't miss the ways I was spending the free time I allotted to gaming. Since I'm not really around these forums or Twitter much anymore, I wanted to let folks know ahead of time so that they may get acquainted with other slider sets. I hope that helps.

I'm actually meeting up with Ridin (@osfmrosters) in a few weeks in Orlando, but that's just to watch some good ole baseball. I'll pass along any slider knowledge I have to him ha.

I’m legitimately sad to hear this Mike but very happy for you. I was in a different situation for the past 4 years(my live in girlfriend bought me the video games so she could have more free time lol) but I’ve slowly been broadening my horizons as well.

Agreed, but I am going to give 17s a go on 18, i have a feeling they will need minimal adjustments.
