Game 2 of the series with the Rangers it was Sale vs Hamels. Bogaerts hit a 2 run homer in the 2nd inning and that end up being the only scoring of the game. Sale went 8 IP, 6 hits, 0 runs, 12 K.

    Rangers 0 6 0
    Red Sox 2 8 0

    Rangers: 1 BB, 13 K
    Red Sox: 1 2B, 1 HR, 3 BB, 4 K

Still on HOF pitching, all CPU hitting sliders default but solid hits (4) Was 10-2 in May but have stumbled the last two games of this current road trip.

      New York 3-7-0
      Baltimore 4-7-0
      3B: Baltimore -1
      HR: Baltimore -2
      BB: Baltimore - 1, New York - 1
      K: Baltimore - 6, New York - 5

      New York 1-9-1
      Chicago 2-10-0
      2B: New York - 2
      BB: New York - 6, ChiSox - 3
      K: New York - 7, ChiSox - 7
And of course, tough luck Jake Arrieta goes for the Yankees in this one and drops to 1-5, despite a 2.27 ERA.

Next game vs Philly. I went to Legend pitching for the first time and left the hitting on Vet +

        PHI 3 11 0
        CHC 1 5 0

        PHI - 2 Doubles, GIDP, 2 BB's, 8 K's
        CHC - 1 HR, 1 BB, 7 K's

Gave up all three runs in the 6th also scored my run in the 6th. Could have gave up a lot more but got the pitcher to ground out to end the inning.

So last two games for me 2 runs on 9 hits

Lester for me is a lot like Arreita for you BYU. 2-2 2.09 ERA

3rd and final game of the series against the Rangers. Price against Ross. Price gave up 2 2 run HR in the 1st inning to put the Rangers ahead 4-0. Red Sox would get one back in the 1st and it was 5-1 after 5. Red Sox would score in the 6th and 7th to make it a 5-3 game. My bullpen got lit up and gave up 6 runs in the 8th inning to put the game out of reach at 11-3. It would actually come back to hurt cause I scored 5 runs in the 8th and 9th and end up losing 11-8.

          Rangers 11 14 0
          Red Sox 8 10 0

          2B: Rangers 2, Red Sox 4
          3B: Red Sox 1
HR: Rangers 3, Red Sox 2
BB: Rangers 4, Red Sox 5
          K: Rangers 8, Red Sox 8

Mariners came into town for the weekend series. I knew I wasn't going to win this game cause I had Porcello pitching and he's been awful. He gave up a run in each of the first 2 innings and pitched okay but he never had a 1-2-3 inning and pitched out of trouble the whole night. It caught up to him in the 6th and gave up 4 runs. I should have taken him out after the 5th but wanted to save my bullpen.

              Mariners 6 17 0
              Red Sox 3 7 0

              Mariners: 2 2B, 1 HR, 6 K
              Red Sox: 2 HR, 1 BB, 6 K

The Yankees had managed only 1 HR in the last 4 games, 3 of which were losses before exploding in game 2 of our series against the White Sox. Aaron Judge stroked two round trippers (8 & 9), while Starlin Castro came up a single short of hitting for the cycle.

                Yankees 10-13-0
                White Sox 2-7-0
                ChiSox: 2B-1, BB-1, K-9
                Yanks: 2B-2, 3B-1, HR-4, BB-2, K-8

Tanaka is now 6-0 and leads the league in strikeouts, Judge, Bird and Sanchez all have 9 HR's (tied for 5th in the league), and Sanchez is second in the league with 30 RBI. We sit at 26-16, 3rd place 2.5 behind the Red Sox and .5 behind Baltimore. Us and Baltimore hold the two wildcard spots at the moment as the East is stacked.

Game 2 of the series against the Mariners was Rodriguez against Heston. I won 11-0 and scored 8 runs in the 7th inning off their bullpen to ice the game.

                  Mariners 0 7 0
                  Red Sox 11 11 0

Game 3 was the rubber match of the series. It was the knuckleballer Wright against Felix Hernandez. Wright gave up 3 HR in the 3rd inning to give the Mariners a 4-0 lead. The Red Sox would chip away with single runs in the 3rd, 5th, and 7th to make it 4-3. Wright and the bullpen held the Mariners the rest of the game. The Red Sox went into the 9th down 4-3. Frazier lead off with a single. Ramirez grounded out to the pitcher which worked as a sacrifice. Holt walked to make 1st and 2nd with 1 out. After Castillo flied out for the 2nd out, Chris Young came up with a huge pinch hit game tying single up the middle. Next batter Bradley walked and Bogaerts came up big with a game winning single to win the game 5-4.

                  Mariners 4 10 0
                  Red Sox 5 11 0

                  Mariners: 3 2B, 3 HR, 5 BB, 5 K
                  Red Sox: 1 2B, 1 HR, 5 BB, 1 K

Boston in for an important early season series and we take advantage of sloppy play by the Sox to move to 27-17, 3rd place 3 games out.

                    Boston 1-6-2
                    Yankees 3-5-0

                    Boston: 2B-1, BB-5, K-6
                    Yankees: HR-1, BB-1, K-8

The coolest part of this game was something I have never heard before. Matty V dropped a Howard Stern reference, shouting Baba Booey when Brantley went deep with a 2 run shot off of Pomeranz.

I don't know if you guys have noticed but to me it seems like the fielding animations are a bit messed up since the last patch, maybe it's just my team this game I will have to keep an eye on it.

By the way I'm down 9-0 to the phillies in the 4th game of the series. The Phillies look like the world series champs this series, and Hellickson is throwing a no no vs me right now (hope this jenks him)

Ok so here is a recap of this awful game

                        PHI 9 11 0
                        CHC 1 5 1

                        PHI - 2 Doubles, 3 BB's, 10 K's, SF
                        CHC - HR, 1 BB, 10 K's

The error on Baez was part of the animation I'm talking about he got to the ball in plenty of time to the first base side but instead of throwing the ball he just keep jogging. Anyway Hendricks got roughed up again for his second start in a row I think maybe third. He gave up all 9 earned. he didn't even make it through 5 innings gave up a 5 spot in the 5th before I took him out.

I haven't seen this luckily, I have seen some good stuff on the fielding side since the patch. Hopefully just a fluke.

I swept the White Sox 5-0, 10-1, and 6-2. Then I raised my hitting difficulty to Veteran Plus again. I was getting too many hits. I won the first two against the Orioles 4-3 and 9-2. The 3rd game I had Sale going. He struck out 8 in the first 4 innings but gave up a lot of hits. He went 6 IP, 10 hits, 3 runs, 2 BB, 10 K. I lost 3-2.

                                Red Sox 2 5 0
                                Orioles 3 11 0

                                Red Sox: 1 2B, 1 HR, 5 BB, 4 K
                                Orioles: 2 2B, 3 BB, 12 K

For the past 6 games I was pitching on All Star Plus at default except that I lowered Human control and consistency to 4. It's been working okay for me so far.
