    Just curious.

I loved everything about your sliders last year!
It's still up in the air. My tipping point issue is if the Blue Jays alternate white panel caps are in the game. Kind of a weird tipping point issue I know, but it's really knife's edge on the decision making.

Even if I do end up getting it, I wouldn't expect a slider set from me until end of April at the earliest. And I very much doubt I'll do multiple difficulties again. I'm glad I did it, and I want to do it, but it was a lot of time and work.

      Got it!

Oh damn, I loved that part about your sliders... I'm not a good enough hitter to be on the higher levels, I usually hit with All-Star and pitch on Legend.

      But I get it.

Really enjoy your sliders. what really is great is you explain a bit about what the slider does and the reason for moving it up or down. I think I might just start 19 on these as a default and see what happens and do tuning myself if they need changes. if your not getting the game haha.

I feel compelled to tell you that I saw a few things that may impact sliders in terms of fielding when watching the gameplay streams. Most of it was just eyeballing and look, but one thing in particular that stood out is it looks like throws are stronger at default.

It is very likely that the hitting changes will have a big impact as well.

I do, as always, highly encourage making your own sliders even if I do end up getting the game. Unlocking some of the secrets of the sliders and deseminating that knowledge was always the goal of this thread. Posting my own was originally just by request. Glad I could help you out!

            Re: TheWarmWind's Impact Sliders

Just an FYI, after the news that pitching tiers has a lot less impact on offline play, I'm leaning towards purchasing.

If I do, I'll likely start from scratch as opposed to using these sliders as a base. I'm not sure, but I know last year I used my 2017 sliders as a base and it ended up prolonging the release of new sliders.

It's been confirmed no Jays white panel hats in the game. Dammit SDS, you're making this year a really difficult decision.

                Re: TheWarmWind's Impact Sliders

After much hmming and hawing, I hit that pre-order button. The Blue Jays alternate cap not being in the game was a negative, but the news that the new pitcher tier system is tuned differently for offline was a much bigger positive. Didn't hurt that I had a play today that they specifically showed in the gameplay streams. If I had have been playing 19, I would have got the out. Now I'm just hoping the out of position logic is also tuned differently for offline play. That would actually make this release a major win from my perspective.

Anywho, back to sliders. Based on the new systems and the language surrounding the streams, I'm going to be starting off on HoF Directional/HoF Pulse default except max pitch speeds and then figuring out things from there.

I'll start with my traditional play now Jays @ Cubs game (expecting to get slaughtered, but you never know) and then it's straight to batting practice to try and nail down hitting sliders ASAP. After that I'll bounce around between my test franchise (or play now), practice mode, and my carry over. I'll try to get a set out ASAP and I'll start a new thread for it. I still want to do multiple difficulty levels like this year but like I said, it's a lot of work.
