    What has changed:

Human Consistency - back to default 5

Human Control - back to default 5

CPU Control - back to default 5

Infield Errors and Infield Throwing Errors - back to default 5
I like the changes Armor. Higher control and consistency means more ks and swings/misses but also I think it’ll lead to more walks

Yep....after playing with the settings previously...when I made those changes the results were obvious to me....felt much better.

What I find so amazing is how great this game is at almost default everything. The only things that really needed the tweaks were baserunner speed and stealing, fielder speed and reaction, errors for the OF and pumping up the CPU ever so slightly with the 6/6 combo on contact and power.

The rest is default bliss this cycle.

Also looking at moving down injuries after more testing.....still need some more sample size in played games though.

I lost Jarrod Dyson till probably June. That sucks. He dislocated his wrist sliding back into first on a pitch out.

Clint Frazier was called up. The Yankees payroll and budget is totally maxed out and we could not even sign Franklin Gutierrez who is a FA sitting out there.

With you on the change back to default on CPU pitcher control.

Couldn’t agree more bro. I noticed a lot of injuries to my starting pitchers if I kept using them after the “getting tired” message popped up.

Just not sure about having human control and consistency at 5.

The way I play and the fact we have CPU Contact and Power at 6, I need to be able to move the ball in and out of the strike zone and not have too much forced “randomness” to the actual pitcher control ratings.

I pitch around guys. I am not afraid to walk a 3 or 4 hitter wth a base open. I found myself leaving too many mistake pitches that were "clearly aimed outside the zone” over the plate and getting smoked.

For those that do not understand or try to pitch around guys....you may want to leave it where I had it to force the bad pitches and walks.

I on the other hand will actually benefit from the default setting after many many games trying the 4/4 combo.

Again...my personal preference. As always use the set as a base and tweak from there. And I will again stress.....you need 100-120 played games to really form a statistical opinion with this game.

Fair enough. I enjoyed watching your stream last night. However, I think maybe default consistency and control at 4 might be a good middle-ground. I've always seen consistency as "how far you miss when you do," and control "how often you miss." I think if we lower consistency too much it results in too many balls missing over the heart of the plate. At least from my experience. I looked back at a few of my recent box scores and I did have one game where I combined for 10 K's against the CPU. So it looks like my K numbers may not be as low as I originally thought (at least I hope). I do think the game plays great out of the box but ultimately I'm not having much fun unless I really fear the hitters. I think with control AND consistency both at default all my pitchers would be Greg Maddux.

With it on default the pitchers still will miss there spots a lot. On 4/4 like armor said they seem to always miss over the middle of the plate. And with you guys playing with contact and power on 6 which I can't do lol you need more control Imo.

More walks to us giving the cpu though?

That's the only thing I'm worried about. If you guys still are I'll try it.

I was noticing the same things when I was pitching. I'd be ahead in the count and aim my pitch well outside the zone, but too many times it ended up as a meatball down the middle and next thing I knew, it was out of the park. Love your sliders year in and year out, Armor!

Anyone having trouble hitting doubles? Is there a trick for hitting gaps more with directional? Does pressing up and to left/right help? Example: 2 o'clock for lefties and 11 o'clock for righties?

The only slider tweak I would suggest is Human Power to 6. That will slightly enhance doubles production.

I reverted back to the CPU pitch control at default a few games ago and that has helped with the hit variety for me. The CPU is throwing better quality pitches and as a result, a lot of those hard-hit balls are now going for doubles vs bombing HRs. It's a subtle difference....but subtlety is the name of this game....
Play the games you love, not the games you want to love.

                                What has changed:

Human Consistency - back to default 5

Human Control - back to default 5

Hi Armour. Would you suggest I make this change? I listen to the catcher 100% of the time (even if I don’t agree with him). I played the 2nd game of my Yankees franchise last night and beat the Jays 8-6 (almost blew an early 8-0 lead). I gave up 7 hits, walked 6 and struck out 13. I’m wondering what moving the human pitching sliders to default would do based on the way I play. Thanks
