I'd give anything to to get a hit. I'm batting a solid .158 right now. I think I may be overmatched at HOF.

What team are you playing as? I’m getting a bit frustrated for the opposite reason. I’m playing as the Yankees with Armour’s exact sliders on HOF except pitch speeds at 6/7. I won game 1 against the Jays 9-1 and got 12 hits including 4 doubles and 5 homers. Won game 2 9-1 with a double and 4 homers. I’m in the 6th inning in game 3 (upped pitch speed to 7/8) and I just hit my 3rd homer of the game to put me ahead 10-6. Have 11 hits already as well. Yes, it’s the Yankees and yes it’s a small sample size, but I’m concerned with the offence I’m getting. Not sure what to do except maybe lowering power back down to 5.

No shame in flipping back to All Star or All Star+ for a while like I have done. Armors sliders are pretty close to Default so you wouldn’t have to change much. Keep playing your Franchise and you can always switch back later when you start to improve.

If you're struggling on Hof go with 6 contact 6 power and 5 solid hits. It will open up your offense trust me.

Seriously question. How do you guys play franchise and still feel like you have an impact on your teams stats and record? I want to do a franchise but 182 games is a lot but I don’t like simming a lot of games because I feel like I don’t have any impact on the stats and record of my team.

In my Yankees YR2 I play all 162, every pitch every inning. I use the year to year save feature which puts zero pressure to have to finish fast. All my other files I play probably 90-100 games of those.

I quick manage the rest and jump in and out in key situations.

Just have fun with it man. The game is simply amazing.

Remember guys most teams only average 7-8 hits a game for the season.

That's what I did as well till I mastered it a bit more. After many games I got much better, then moved back up to HoF.

I play as the White Sox. They're brutal. But I know it's me because I can't drive the ball at all with Avi Garcia or Abreu. I'm going to try upping the solid hits and go from there.

Just have fun with it man. The game is simply amazing.

I try to play every putch of every game but I play with two franchises. I also do critical situations for the minor league games, which allows me to,play a little of the minors.

These continue to play like a dream for me. HOF hitting, AS pitching, loving it. The ebbs and flows of the season are truly captured in this years edition. OSFM only making it that much better, it’s so fun to manage your roster with the actual prospects

True, but the hits I was getting were extremely weak. I wasn’t hitting anything in the gaps and I think I hit one, maybe 2 home runs in 13 games. The balance was just too off for my liking.

That’s where I had those sliders and it didn’t help me. I even bumped my timing slider up a few.
