I was gonna maybe what for the hybrid roster, but I really just wanna start my franchise and play haha. Just got the game yesterday, had to skip last year's unfortunately. Loved how it felt last night messing around. What's the majority roster people are rolling with these? The OSFM V 1.3? wondering if that's the one I want?

No OSFM just dropped today grab that one. Just search Ridin in the roster vault and you'll find it.

What does NA mean? Does it mean leaving it on default which is Veteran?

The Indians dominated game 1 winning 9-1 and Kluber pitched his 2nd complete game in 2 postseason outings so far.

The Astros offense continues to be quiet with just 2 hits in game 1.

Hoping I can get it going again in game 2 which will be live in a few minutes.

The Astros managed to win both games 2 (7-3) and 3 (5-2) thanks mainly to their bullpen and timely hitting. Game 4 as usual could be key with the Indians trying to even the series and the Astros looking to put themselves a game away from a return to the World Series.

Meanwhile the NLCS between the Cubs and Dodgers is finely poised at 2-2.

Not applicable. Button throwing with no meter (how we play) is purely ratings based and the longer you hold down the button the harder the throw.

The Yankees completed their sweep of the dreaded Red Sox 9-5! Edwardo Nunez again went yard with a huge 3R HR and Aarron Judge has caught fire as he went 3-4 and has now raised his average from below the Mendoza line in April to .247 now in thru two weeks in May. He also drove in 2 runs to raise his league leading RBI total to 37. Luis Severino went 6 strong innings yielding 3 runs. The Red Sox tagged him for 3 first inning runs but he would settle down and pitch 5 scoreless innings giving way to the bullpen.

Breaking News Yankees Year 2

The Yankees made a couple of trades today. They re-aquired SS Gleyber Torres from the Marlins in exchange for SS Adeiny Hechavarria. In a statement the Marlins said they felt Torres was not a fit in their vision of the future and called GM Michael Sword seeing if he would be interested in dealing back Hechavarria (2017 Gold Glove Winner) back to them for the former Yankees prospect. Sword did not hesitate and sent over the paperwork. Torres was thrilled with the news that he was heading back to NY and will stay up with the big club as a backup SS/2B. Hechavarria was brought in to be the starting 2B however the Yankees made a late free agent signing with Brandon Phillips and Adeiny was in a platoon role and was highly disgruntled after being sold on being a full time player. Also the Marlins insisted on Torres as part of the massive package of prospects sent over to acquire Sonny Gray and Stanton.

Going back to the Marlins he will be their full time starting SS. Torres in the meantime presents an intriguing option for the Yankees as becoming their full time 2B after this season as Brandon Phillips is 37 years old. Jorge Mateo is also developing really nicely down on the farm and looks to make the big club in 2019 as well and be a back up middle infielder at worst and compete with Torres for 2B.

The Yankees also made a very interesting move as the Angels were seeking bullpen help and moved AAA SP Alex Meyer to the Yankees for veteran RP Adam Warren. Sword has always been intrigued with the 6’9’ flame thrower from Indiana. Meyer presents a chance for the Yankees farm system to develop him into a more consistent pitcher. At age 28 his time is running out. But Sword believes he has a late bloomer and is looking to next season already with impending free agents C.C. Sabathia and Jeremy Hellickson. We very well may fins Meyer in the Yankees rotation in 2019 and be given the opportunity to shine. He has fantastic stuff. But control and stamina have been holding him back. He could also be converted into a long reliever. We shall see.

This allowed Sword to keep Rosenthal for the season (at least for the time being if nothing else arises). Once Stanton and Dyson return from injury Clint Frazier is believed to be the man being sent down to make room for them. With Warren dealt and Meyer in AAA they Yankees are at 24 on the roster as they await Stanton who is due to come off in 3-6 days. Dyson is 1-2 weeks away and it is strongly believed he will have to fight to get his starting LF job back as Aaron Hicks and Brett Gardner have been outstanding an the team is rolling.


The Yankees take on the A’s for a 3 game series then head out on the road to face the nationals, Royals and Rangers for an 8 game trip.

No. I have used my sliders with the OSFM hybrid rosters in the past with no issues at all.

The ONLY thing I could think of might be if you are using a pitch speed offset (i.e. different values for fastball speed and offspeed pitches) with non pitch edit rosters. The biggest thing with the default-rated rosters is that many offspeed pitches have a massive velocity separation from the fastball velocity. This prompts many people to raise the offspeed slider to compensate a tad bit. With pitch edit rosters, these gaps are usually lessened to more realistic levels, so there MAY not be a need for the offset.

Other than that, you should be good to go.

Just started a Padres franchise and the pitcher vs batter stats are pretty cool and I like that the commentary mentions it from time to time (haven’t started a new franchise since carryover saves were introduced). Does the game also keep track of created players batter vs pitcher stats when they get up to the majors?

Well I decided to not let my low strikeout totals bother me. Everything else is playing great. I’m just pretending that the Pirates are having an exceptional year at the plate as far as discipline. headline: Pirates Might Have Lowest Strikeouts Per Game Since 1921 Reds (2 per game).

Also In real life Corey Dickerson only has 14 strikeouts in 133 ABs.
