Josh--You've mentioned you tried HOF. I have as well. First thing I notice while hitting on HOF is the pitch speed at default is much faster than default all-star. I love the feel and speed of default pitch speed on HOF and would like to replicate that on all-star as I struggle to hit on hof overall. In your opinion, what would be the all star pitch speed equivalent to hof default pitch speed? I'm thinking 8 for both fastball and curve-ball but I'm interested in your opinion/thoughts. Thanks!

I’m thinking maybe 6 or 7. It’s almost feels in between in a way but I haven’t mucked around with pitch speed too much.

Agreed. Feels like 8 is too fast and 7 is a touch slow. I’m rolling with 7. I hit too well at 5 or 6. Thx!

I'm still having such a blast with this game and rebuilding my hometown Blue Jays . I did however make the switch to HOF pitching with some minor changes and it's been Brillaint for me personally . Loving the games I'm having

I second your post. I may not have time to play as much as I like (work and all 12 hours continental) but every time I fire up my ps4 I get results. I was batting over .300 as a team at one point and had a guy club 15 homers in a month. But I have also had cold streaks as well. Balance is here. The only issue is my fingers are a bit too itchy to swing when I don’t play for a while. Last in walks in the league!

Yup I'm last in walks aswell , but that's all my fault due to me not being patient enough . And there's great variety , just yesterday I had a game where I gave up 9 runs including 2 homers on 17 hits! I've never given up that many hits before , and literally the very next game CPU got 2 runs on only 4 hits and I got 4 runs on 6 hits . Just two completely different and awesome games . Such a joy

Found a way to keep from having bad timing in hitting and pitching after not playing for awhile. I go to play now start a game with my team and then as there opponent whoever is the next opponent in my franchise with there pitcher and play about 3 or 4 innings to get my time down hitting and with the pitching meter.

So after playing over 100 games in my 1st season with the Blue Jays I needed to sadly cancel out the season and restart from scratch due to the fact i wasn't really challenged on the pitching side of things . I was leading the league or in the top 3 in all pitching stats . I had a ERA of under 3 , strikeouts I was just simply dominating 1st overall and same as whip . So I made the move to HOF with a minor tweak or 2 and things are looking great ! The games im having are exciting and stat wise I couldn't be happier . Still not giving up much home runs , so maybe power for CPU at 6 will help ? But overall after 18 games it's all spot on

Curious how many out of those 20 homers you have hit has Vladdy hit?

Ohh man it's funny u ask , in the 1st season that I played the 100 games in I hit 21 home runs with Big boy Vladdy . He was 2nd on the team with HR and in 1st place for rookie of the Year award . I remember one game where I hit 3 home runs with him , but now I'm 22 games in and I only have 2 HR with him and a batting average around .220 . I've just been really struggling with him this time around , it's still very early on so hopefully he gets out of this slump .

Through 107 games he has hit 22 for me and 65 RBIs. But he is cold against lefty’s. I’m still batting 300 with him but he was batting .330 at one point. His offence has gone cold. Is he still batting in the number two spot for you!? I thought about dropping him down he been batting there the entire year for me.

I got him usually batting 3rd or 4th and as the DH for me . I couldn't keep him on 3rd or 1st base anymore , he was constantly making errors on simple routine ground balls . And his bat has come to life in recent games for me

I don’t know if this has been talked about in any of the slider threads, but I’ve been checking the batter/pitcher analysis after each game..
I’ve noticed that most of the time, the cpu and I are pretty even on swings and misses..
                            Cpu frequently has more fouls
                            I frequently have more takes
But back to swings and misses, I’ve played on all star and hall of fame. Used armors sliders for about 60 games and josh’s Sliders for about 23 now and most of the time the cpu swings and misses on strike 3. My swings and misses are early in the counts. If I’m 0-2,1-2,2-2, I usually use contact unless it’s 2 out and nobody on with a big hitter. I wonder now if the cpu utilizes the different swings.. does the cpu use contact and power, or do they just use normal all the time

Just curious if anyone else has any thoughts on this.

Year two of my Blue Jays Franchize. Vlad off to a terrific start. Hitting the ball to opposite field an pulling the ball for bombs. Absolutely clutch. His rating went up to as high as 93. Game number 3 season ending injury. Since then I’m averaging less than 2 runs a game. I thought about just sim the entire 2020 campaign. This after a season where I went up 3 games to 2 on the Indians in the ACLS. Dropped the next two games after my Ace lost game six. It was almost as if the entire team became unglued. Was hoping for a World Series this year but no such luck at this rate a wild card maybe all that’s on the table. Now I’m curious in everyone else’s Sims do the Yankees and Red Sox ever make the playoffs? Cause they are always 10 to 20 games below .500

Yankees made the playoffs in my first season and the Red Sox were in 2nd place but we're 4th in the wild card race. This season Yankees are in first again but this time the Red Sox are in 3rd and 15 games back and 6th place in Wild Card.
