Hey Mike. I've followed your slider set and updated to 1.3 including moving up to legendary difficulty. I see your last 2 updates has increased contact and timing and I'm already testing the cover off the ball. I was wondering are your previous sets still in the vault because i would like to go back to maybe 1.2 because i was right where i wanted to be in that set

Question for you all - in terms of the WIND slider...I’ve always used it at 10, which in my mind makes it the most realistic feel. I doesn’t “add” wind to games, but rather EFFECTS the ball (meaning that if you hit into 18mph gusts, the ball ain’t leaving the park). What’re your thoughts on this?

I play as the Cubs and most games at Wrigley there’s 10-20mph wind and I’ve had games where the wind is blowing out = high scoring games with lots of HRs...and I’ve had quite a few games where the wind is blowing in or from RF to LF, etc and they’ve resulted in low scoring games.

Should I tune the slider back to 5? Does it even make sense to move it up...for more “realism” at 10?

Interested to see if this makes sense to anyone, thank you all!

The wind seems to be more impactful this year. I think they have it set really well at 5 default.

Yeah I meant to say that v1.5 was for people struggling with hitting. v1.4 will work for better players and/or better teams.

v1.2 is the one I never updated to the Vault.

Yesterday had a fun Game with v1.5, scored 5 but allowed 6... I'm 5-10... Pitching was strong all season except for last two games... Seen a ton of different type of hits and couple of no doubters, kemp is ballin, fun stuff...

I’ve been using 1.5 settings but with human contact at 5.

I gotta say, I was skeptical cause I’ve was raking HR on previous slider versions lately but I think the increase in timing, contact and solid hits actually make for more variety.

I’ve had more choppers, I had two last night up the middle that were jam shots. One hit the pitchers mound and shot up in the air over the 2B head (shifted vs Gallo) and into center field.

Complete speculation but maybe with lower timing, it means when you connect you really do, AKA HR. Now, the timing/contact window is bigger (along with solid hits) which allows for more variety. It’s not you connect flush or you miss.

Again speculation but just pure gameplay notices from about 5-7 games with 1.5.

Quick question Mike, do the CPU starter stamina and hook apply too quick manage games? I do a lot of quick counts, sim to 6th or straight quick manage, didn’t know if that counts as simming.

            Great work! Thanks!

Hey mike how many pitchers do you carry in your bullpen currently? Had victor Reyes get hurt and is out 2 months so I added an arm to the pen because those guys are getting plenty of work with starters not lasting usually past the 7th. I have plenty of guys as you know who can play multiple positions but it looked like you had an extra arm in pen but not sure. Thanks

My first 3 games with the Dodgers against the Giants :

                      Game 1 : 2-1 victory with a walk-off HR
                      Game 2 : 2-1 victory with a walk-off double
                      Game 3 : 1-0 victory after 11 innings.

                      It was fun to play.

                          Hey Mike,

Sorry for the dumb question. Do you track foul ball strike percentages? I know it’s good to be between 25-30% with that. Just wondering what the best to track.

                            Mike ..
Just a observation and if you can I’d love to see your response. As you know I Cpu Cpu games so user end is not an issue.

I saw your slider version 1.5, and I’m comparing things to your very first version which I’m still using with slight adjustments. How much of an impact do you feel (contact, power, solid hits,) have on the outfielders and the baserunners and interaction as far as extra base hit, attempted stretch singles ect.

In your first version ( which is why I’m still using them) contact 5 / power 6 / solid hits 1/ the fielding settings
I believe were at fielders speed 3/ reaction 3 / baserunning 4.. With these settings I am getting many realistic baserunning scenarios, baserunners thrown out at second trying to stretch ect. However I’m also getting a lot of gap doubles where runners get easy stand up doubles. Been wanting to close that gap with outfielders but whenever I raise fielders speed or raise baserunning ect the baserunning and outfielders interaction is bland.
No dynamics in aggressiveness baserunning..no close plays at third second, or runners being gunned down

Looking at your V1 sliders I see contact / power/ solid hits/ are changed as is baserunning speed and fielders reaction and speed . I’m just wondering what you find with this version in the baserunning outfielders interaction, and how much of a balancing act with hitting sliders and fielding sliders play into this.

I just lost again... and i really dont know... im getting super frustated, just increase the human timing to 6 and lowered human contact to 5 after this game, because im always late or early... even i watched gaming monitors on amazon LOL, dylan bundy was getting a no hitter to the 7th when finally cervelli hit our one an only hit of the ball game. but... very cool animations... very cool pitching
