I don't use (or typically trust) auto running. That would be an issue to take up with SDS.

I bumped up Baserunner Speed to 5. Going to see if that makes it better.

        One question

I love the idea of moving long reliever to middle reliever spot but does that mean I have to control all 30 teams in order to keep Long Relievers in the middle reliever position and fix it myself?

If so how does that work since there’s no official AI team if I’m the one controlling of all them

This part has me super confused and would appreciate if anyone can clear this out for me

man... this game is so cruel.... i won the series against philly.. then drop the next 3 against the mets...0-1, 4-3 (I tied this one at the 9th and then lost it in the 12) and 2-4 (two men in base in the 9th with 0 outs)..... and i just realize i just give to much easy strikes when batting... and have 0 clutch in my at the moment.... obviously the marlins are bad... there isnt no "pop" in the batters only perhaps dickerson and aguilar.. and brian anderson is so cold....

but the sliders are working amazing from me... i just need more patience at the plate and make more runs because i avg like a .194 as a team... and sometimes just sometimes i feel the umps are robbing me everytime lol

but even the cpu bullpen is working cool... so... besides the frustation and heartbreaks... this year experience is top.

I don't know what it is, but I just can't touch the fastball... I tried lowering pitch speed by 1 and still can't touch it unless its low at the shins. My Tigers are 11-34, last in every category except HRs (28th) and ERA (27th). Games are competitive for the most part, but if I face any team with power, I get blasted for anywhere between 3-5 Hrs a game. I pitch to the corners and miss so often my sliders or breaking balls float to the zone and get crushed. I use vibration with knowing were my zone is and I am vibrating on all corner pitches too. I know the tigers are trash, but I may not be helping them. I had a sixteen game losing streak before I pulled a 1-0 victory against the twins. The next game they blasted 6 Hrs off me.

If I needed to help my hitting a smidge, I have lowered pitch speed on both fastball and off speed pitches by 1, I was thinking next, to up foul percentage by one, and then try, timing... the one stat I lead in is triples, but last in doubles and HRs, would you consider, solid hits before contact or contact before solid hits? I was thinking of moving up in that order to find the fix. Do you think that would be the way to go?

I will post all my stats, when I get a chance.

Any recommendation on making pitching a little harder? I'm on legend and using the v1.4 sliders. I've had 3 shutouts in the first 9 games of my franchise and lead the league with 1.93 ERA. I'm using the Rays. Should I let it play out? Or should I tweak some sliders?

There's a pinned video on the SSG YouTube channel that covers most of this, if not all.

The most important thing you can do is go into batting practice mode and get some confidence. Work on some things unapologeticly, and come up with a simple process for your hitting. A very common one is:

Look fastball. React to breaking ball. Keep your eye on the ball.

Simple. But trust me, spend some time in "the cage" and you'll see improvements.

Yep: Use v1.5 for at least your pitching/CPU hitting.

I've had a lot of people message me about contributing something to the cause of this slider set, so if you'd like to do something that would help, I'd much prefer a donation to our SSG site so that we can continue to keep that up and running for our leagues each year. Thank you so much!

I also added this info to the first post.

Here is the information if you'd like to contribute.

I second this!!! Its crazy how getting swings in will improve your play. When I made the switch from 19 to 20 I couldn’t hit for the life of me. I was constantly getting shut out and striking out 12-15 times a game. Spent a couple sessions in bp, got my timing down and simplified my approach and it’s like I was playing on rookie. It truly makes a difference.

Gonna try this, the sliders apply in práctice?
