Wanted to share this also. Last night i pitch a gem finally with Degrom. 8 innings 4 hits and 0 runs. In comes the closer with a 2-0 lead and promptly gives up 2 runs. Top of the tenth I score 1 to go ahead 3-2. Bottom of 10 they tie it up again. Top of the 11th I score 3 for a 6-3 lead. Bottom of 11 the first 2 batters reach base but I stopped the bleeding after they scored 2 runs for a 6-5 victory. What I would give for some easy victories. Not sure they exist at this point. Going for 2 in a row tonight!

This game is hard. I may not be struggling to pitch now like you are but I absolutely stink at hitting. It's to the point where I may need a break from the game or drop down a difficulty level. It's amazing how as grown men with real responsibilities this video game can be so immersive and frustrating. I was just thinking last night how much I need a few easy victories. Sitting at 12-15 now with a very talented team and playing worse than our record. Here's to you and I turning things around!

I'm in a similar situation. Hitting has been an absolute atrocity this season for me. I've never struggled like this in all the years I've played this game. Maybe I'm getting old but my batters eye is completely gone. Seriously starting to consider a difficulty level drop since the last 25 games or so have been bleak at best lol.

I'm just not at the skill level of these fantastic sliders for hitting. I only get to play once a day and I certainly want to have fun when I do play. So I think I'll drop down hitting for 25 games and use Josh's set for offense and this set for pitching.

Lol. We are the exact opposite. I am not having many issues hitting in any of the 3 franchises that I have going. Sure I have the occasional few bad offensive games but nothing like the pitching. As far as being a grown man, I will be 50 this year and still enjoy the heck out of gaming but maybe my age is catching up with me and slowing down my hand eye coordination . lol , no way I will ever accept that theory!

I'm almost 40. There are a bunch of us "older" gamers here.

When you have to leave a game before finishing it do you save or do the automatic shut-off feature? It seems when I save the game it is almost like a Dr Jekyll, Mr Hyde turnaround. I was winning a game 4-1 after 7 innings and had to leave for a few hours so I saved it. I had only given up 2 hits at the time. When I started playing in the 8th the first 5 batters got hits and scored and I ended up losing 7-5

But I also just let the power shut off a few games earlier. This time I was losing 5-3, when I had to quit for the night. When I turned the game on in the morning, a patch started downloading and the game was gone. Had to replay the game

What do you guys do? Just trying to determine the lesser of 2 evils. Thanks

I’m 56 with my “cave” in the basement. I also have one game for my ps4 - The Show. My 3 kids know to leave dad alone when he is playing!

This. My kids always want to play right where I am gaming and their movement screws me up because I can see it out of my peripheral vision while batting. They just can’t understand that. I need total concentration to play this game. I could not stream like some of you guys do and chat while playing. Kudos to all of you that do!
