Too many meatballs on the human side on HOF. CPU side is fine with the consistency move we made over a month ago....but human side needed one more tweak and this is it.

Remember these are my personel settings.....may not work for everyone.

You certainly will and you will issue more walks because you will hit out of the zone better too when you want to leave a pitch out of the strike zone.

You certainly will and you will issue more walks because you will hit out of the zone better too when you want to leave a pitch out of the strike zone.

That's exciting. I will be giving this tweak a try. I have issued a believable number of walks since turning vibration off but this could enhance the feel. In fact I even have a couple guys who've issued more BB than K through 31 games. But my K numbers are hardly believable so this could help.

Cool, I signed Boxberger in our first off-season to a minor league deal because of his experience and high k/9 rating. I still have him at AAA but expect to purchase his contract at some point.

Okay I'm going back to HOF pitching and trying this out.

You are right about personal settings. I am not skilled enough to be a clean screen guy. I have pitch select display on, swing/pitch info on, and pitch ball marker set to classic on. I have only played 5 innings with control at 6 with Luis Castillo of the Reds pitching. So far I’ve given up 1 hit, struck out 6, and haven’t walked a batter on 58 pitches. This is after my last game with control at 5 where I gave up 1 run on 3 hits, 3 walks and 11 k’s (against the Cards). With my settings I think human control at 5 is right

Yes, and they have worked perfectly for me over the years and made the game so much more enjoyable for me. I just think with my settings and the “advantages” I give myself that I mentioned in my previous post, putting control at 6 just seemed like too much of an advantage (struck out Goldschmidt twice on a total of 6 pitches). For me, control at 5 gives me a nice balance of dominating performances and wanting to throw my controller through the tv screen because I can’t get anybody out.

Other than that, and my pitch speeds at 9/8, everything is the same as your OP. Thanks again for all of your work on your sliders

I am simply having an incredible time with 20. Not only do I have 4 different franchise/season files going right now, I also still have my 2016 Fantasy Draft Cardinals which is going into year 4 (2019) that I will start again come Fall. I love that team.

The amount of fire in the classic roster department this cycle is going to rival MLB 12 and 16 in terms of content the sheer amount of replay-ability.

I know the PS5 is coming. So we will have to wait an see what direction the franchise goes in before we go next gen.

I have an enormous backlog on the PS4 but the PS5 is backwards compatible to PS4. So that is a very attractive feature to get the new console at some point.

Ooops! I did start over today, but I told my wife this is her Mother’s Day present - me starting my franchises today (on her special day) and NOT starting over. I finally have everything set exactly how I want so no looking back (I hope).

I’m dying to get into my 1998 Yankees franchise so we can compare our seasons. Just looking at all the rosters gets me pretty excited to re-play that season. I actually peed a little bit!!

But what I’m going to do is play a Reds series, than a Yankees series and then a series with the 1998 Yankees and keep that rotation going forward.

Doing some Mother’s Day running around now but started game 1 of my Reds franchise. Heading into the bottom of the 2nd down 1-0 after Gray picked up a ground ball and threw it over Votto’s head allowing a run to score (auto fielding and auto throwing). Guess I better start over....

I’m not sure what I’m doing next year. I’m 56 years old and not sure I’m going to buy a ps5 just to play this game, especially when you can carryover seasons.

I hate to admit it, but I have NEVER even made it to the AllStar game in any year I’ve played this game (OCD sucks!!). So I might reward myself and buy one if I can finish a season THIS time!!!

I am streaming that franchise today at some point. They are awful. It will be years before I turn that club around. LOL!!

On a positive note I did win my last game in that chise. I beat Strasburgh. tagged him for 3 runs and end up hanging on for a 4-3 win.

In baseball anything can happen and getting swept by a bad team.....happens.

We have finally gotten past that 500% mark as we are now a few games above 500. for the first time this season . We are 7-3 in our last 10 games and now we sit at 47-43 . I'm right in the thick of it when it comes to battling for that wild card spot .
I'm now just 1.5 games back and we start a huge and important 4 game series against the Red Soxs who are just 1 game ahead of us . Boston is without a doubt the hottest team in the league right now as they have won 9 straight and they try to make it 10 in a row .
I have made a few little pick ups early on in the season as I picked up Jake Cave , Kevin Cron and Jurickson Profar all from the trading block . All 3 were not getting 0lay time and I pounced to make the deals happen .
But the biggest and riskiest move I made was letting go of Randal Grichuck for Anthony Santander . As much as I like Gritch he was simply dreadful for us and I really wanted to get rid of that contract he was on . I'm a big fan of Santander and decided to gamble for him , so I did a straight swap and sent him to the O's and I haven't looked back . Santander has been great so far , In his first 10 games for us I have hit 7 homers with him and he continues to perform well here and push us closer to that wild card spot . Big win and great game for Chase Anderson as he dominates.
