Agree 100% great ideas, poor implementation and they never ever worked on them after they added it.

But.....as long as the ratings don’t really take a hit....I live with it.

Not a big deal but Ian Anderson was a 69 in AAA and when I called him up he went down to 67. But after a couple starts he was back up to 69.

I am loving my Braves franchise right now. At the trade deadline and the Braves have a 2 game lead ahead of the Nationals. Freeman is having a monster year after having a slow start where he only had 3 HR in April. He is now 2nd in the league in HR with 34 and leads the NL in RBI's at 95. Riley is finally coming around after his batting average was stuck in the .190's. He is now hitting .240 after having a great 3 weeks.

I wish they would have really worked on the moral and feedback of the players like NBA 2K21. For example, when I called up Ian Anderson from the minors to majors he was unhappy because he didn't like the coaching staff. I went through and called up a rookie pitcher for the Indians that was raking in AAA and he is not happy because he is playing away from home. Now in my opinion, any rookie getting called up to the MLB for the first time, should be ESTATIC. You think a rookie making his MLB debut is thinking...oh I wish I was playing closer to home? He was also mad about his salary too. It be nice if they would work on stuff like that.

Yeah it’s almost like they really didn’t think parts of their player morale system through. The flaws are pretty easy to spot. Gerrit Cole shouldn’t be unhappy in the game about playing in NY instead of California after he just chose to sign a mega deal to play for the Yankees as a FA in real life.

If a player signs or resigns with you their morale for region and salary should at least change to neutral, and if playing close to home is that important to a specific player they shouldn’t even consider your offer unless maybe you give them a huge overpay contract. Makes no sense for a player to be angry about a contract they just decided to sign.

There is a 2004 and 2005 roster in the MLB 20 vault.

However if you still own MLB 17 I would highly recommend you DL the 2007 full minors roster!! It is really great.

Man I just had a huge injury to Freddie Freeman in my Braves franchise. He has a broken shin and is out 2-3 months. He was the MVP of the league last year.

He was off to a slow start but had started to turn it on. He will be missed. We have a lot of power and will platoon d’ Arnaud and Camargo at first and mix in a little Adam Duvall. I have Mitch Garver behind the plate so d’Anaud wasn’t getting much playing time. He was lost for the season last season for me which made me trade to Garver.

We will see how goes but I think we will be just fine. But it’s tough to lose the MVP.

Quick side note: I traded for Camargo in ST (in my Dodger's franchise). He's an absolute stud at 3B for me. The guy makes plays.

Sucks to hear about Freddie Freeman for you. I lost Corey Seager for two months, though I was able to move my infield around.

MLBTS 20 came out last year, and many of us are still ultra-engrossed in this game and our franchises. It's not letting up anytime soon. IRL Spring Training games today boys!

Big update on the 30 team control manifesto. In chatting on discord with some peeps in bacons fictional franchise group I came up with a really cool idea for adding more spice to injuries over the course of a 162 game grind.

I think it is a really nice idea, and will add potential storylines and add a nice layer of lineup and roster strategy to your franchise. It is on the OP post #1 in the 30 team control manifesto. It is pretty self explanatory and if you have questions of course ask them here and we will answer them ASAP.

In my Braves franchise, Comargo started off hot and won the 3B position. At the end of May he was hitting .344. He cooled off a little in June and July and is now hitting .303 with 10 HR. Markakis is batting .323 for me as my everyday RF. He’s really going to make it tough for me to not resign him in 2021.

For position players, when you get that message that they might not need a day off, if you decide to bench them that game, you don’t do the matrix thing?

For bullpen, you say 70%, you just eyeball the energy meter right?

Entirely up to you if you want to send anyone up or down due to a day to day injury.

So I have finished all the first series of every game every pitch every at bat!! yay!! the only team to sweep was the Reds sweeping the cardinals. Swaez has hit 5 homers in that series he has started on fire. along with Springer for the Jays hitting 4 homers (jays fans would love that if he was starting this way) we now move onto the next set of series and different stadiums

Epic choke just happened in the game of the year so far.

Pirates were up 7-1 against the cubs in the top of the 8th... Cubs BP implodes Wick loads the bases and the pirates just chip away a WILD pitch and another hit make it 7-6. it was a boring as hell game until then.

we get to the 9th. Kimbel strikes out the first man. then walks then next 2 and BANG Todd Frazier his first homer as a Pirate and the pirates take a 9-7 lead and win hold out an incredible comeback. the first time ever I even heard the commentators say how bad it was to blow a 6 run lead at home.
