Ughhh I had to restart and redo everything for my relocation and rebranding of the Marlins to Sauga City . I had made some mistakes that you don't realize until u actually start the season and get into the menus and games . Luckily I had only played the first 6 games but still sucks cus I had a 3-3 record and some good stats with certain players . I didn't feel like replaying those games again so this time I just simmed the first 6 games and moved on . So now we head to Atlanta for our first road games and what a beating we put on the Braves with our beautiful away uniforms . Alcantara was in ACE mode for this one and our offense did the rest . A Great beat down of the Braves , enjoy .

Yep, hey do you know if you re-brand a team, then finish the season, then change the team logo and nickname, does it remain the same team? (staying in the same home city)JUUUUUUUST A BIT OUTSIDEComment

You can do it either way (move to a new city or just do a re-branding).Play the games you love, not the games you want to love.Comment

I mean, hell, I won the Triple Crown with Scooter Gennett last year (if you saw his ratings in the base roster I started from....it'd make a lot more sense - something like 99 contact vs RHP and 70+ power vs RHP...he sucked vs LHPs). I still barely eeked out a playoff berth.

Re: Armor & Swords MLB The Show 20 Classic/Directional Clean Screen Simulation Slider
It’s strange that everyone here puts the pitch speeds so low...... I’ve always been at 10/9 because any less looks off to me..... ball looks like it’s floating...... would u guys think this affects the slider difficulty a great deal? Am I behind the 8 ball by doing this compared everyone else ??

Does it "visually" look off if you compared it to real life? Perhaps. But that's why one shouldn't compare games to 'real life'.
Does it "effect the gameplay"? No; pitch speeds are independent of other sliders.Play the games you love, not the games you want to love.Comment

Hey Armor, what sliders would help lower user walks?Comment

Re: Armor & Swords MLB The Show 20 Classic/Directional Clean Screen Simulation Slider
Personal opinion: Ultra high pitch speeds require less skill than lower ones (especially on directional); you're just relying on muscle memory vs actually timing your swings.

Re: Armor & Swords MLB The Show 20 Classic/Directional Clean Screen Simulation Slider
Edit: OK, I read this initially as "user batters walking too much" - my answer below is based on that. If you mean user pitchers walking too many batters, that's tricky and I leave that to the man himself(Though the min sample size applies)
I'm not Armor...
But I'll answer.
1. Pitch speed (which is ironic given the other conversation).
2. Changing your batting camera to something that is more challenging to you.
Those are probably both transient solutions; you'll eventually adjust. But if you're getting too many walks (assuming you have the bare minimum sample size of around 80 games or so that it takes for walk rates to stabilize); that typically means you're seeing things too well.Last edited by JoshC1977; 04-21-2020, 03:47 PM.Play the games you love, not the games you want to love.Comment
