Re: Armor & Swords MLB The Show 20 Classic/Directional Clean Screen Simulation Slider

So i decided to get a little creative and relocate the Marlins after all . The story is that Drake himself being from Toronto of course and a huge sports fan who is already heavily involved with the Raptors and Toronto FC , has decided to do all he can with the help of others and bring a 2nd team to the GTA (Greater Toronto area)
And they have managed to succesfuly bring the struggling Miami Marlins to Sauga City (Mississauga) Sauga City is a city of 1mil and the people there are thrilled with the big and exciting news . And here is the very first game for the Sauga City Chiefs in the MLB against the Phillies .

And what a way to start the Franchise and new season , this was a masterclass pitching dual from both Nola and Urena . It came down to the wire and it doesnt get any better than this. My stomach was in nots during this game lol So exciting and this franchise is gonna be awesome , anyone wants to check out the new Sauga City Chiefs make their MLB debut against the Phillies heres the link .

Re: Armor & Swords MLB The Show 20 Classic/Directional Clean Screen Simulation Slider

According to several sources Dodgers SP Gerrit Cole’s back loaded contract too much for Yankees appetite.

According to several sources around the league the heavily back loaded Cole contract the Dodgers gave Ace pitcher Gerrit Cole this past off-season is simply too much for the Yankees to swallow and will train wreck their blueprint of the future.

It is believed the Yankees are heavily pursuing and turning their attention to pending free agent Superstar LHP Clayton Kershaw. The Dodgers do not have any plans of re-signing the multiple CY Young and NL MVP winner. Kershaw will be 33 years old and it is believed he is expecting in the neighborhood of 30-32MM per season and at 4 years with a player option for a 5th year.

The Yankees will probably not extend Kershaw either but....according to multiple GM’s love to have him for a title run ASAP. The Dodgers are looking for a capable bat, and a prospect in return. Nolan Arenado is not in the discussions any longer (or so it seems according to these sources but the contracts match up so take that for what it is worth). It seems the Yankees are committed to Nolan and want him part of their present and near term future. They intentionally front loaded his deal they rewarded him with this past off-season with the plans of giving other key players extensions in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Names being discussed are Miguel Andujar who is a 3B by trade (defensively below average) but has an outstanding bat and he is very young and under team controlthru the 2024 season. He is currently an 80 overall and B potential player. He simply is a great stick that the Dodgers value and covet. SP Chad Green is also being dangled as he still has some upside and a team friendly contract and under control thru 2024. The prospects being discussed are:

SP Dave Hansen - B Potential 71 overall under team control till 2027 Age 23
SP Pedro Ramirez - A Potential 61 overall under team control till 2026 age 24

Will the Yankees pul the trigger? The Dodgers are falling fast in the standing this season after 3 straight World Series appearances and 2 titles in 2017 and 2019.

The Yankees currently sit at 28-14 in 1st place
The Dodgers currently sit at 20-20 8 games back and losers of their last 6 straight.

      Stay tuned!!!

Do i just play this through and go for the record? He’s currently at 5.7 AB/HR or do I drop his power down a bit?

FWIW in 2019 he hit .315 with 47 homeruns and over 120 rbis.

What an amazing come from behind win I just had in my Phillies Franchise against the Mets! Just wow.

The game started with us scoring a quick run in the top of the 1st. The Mets answered with 3 in their half and another 2 in the 2nd. They added another run in the 3rd to take a 6-1 lead.

Top of the 5th we score another 2 runs and the Mets again answer in their half with another run. 7-3 lead.

Here's where the game gets even crazier. Top of the 6th inning we pinch hit Jay Bruce for the pitcher with 2 men on base and he promptly crushes a 3-run homer to put us within 1 run. The Mets then take an 8-6 lead in the bottom of the 7th on a J.D. Davis home run. Top of the 8th we get within 1 run again on a solo shot by Didi Gregorious.

Top of the 9th and the Mets bring in Seth Lugo to close it out. Lugo quickly retires Roman Quinn and Jean Segura. Up steps Bryce Harper who absolutely destroys the 2nd pitch he sees to center field for a game tying home run with 2 outs! Lugo then walked Rhys Hoskins. J.T. Realmuto then decided they weren't staying late and crushed a 2-run home run to give the Phillies a 10-8 lead. Hector Neris easily closed it out in the 9th for save #2 on the season.

Just an unreal game. I thought I was done for with how many times the Mets answered me. 7 total home runs hit in the game. 4 by the Phillies and 3 by the Mets.

Bryce Harper was by far the player of the game going 3 for 5 with 2 doubles, 1 home run, 2 RBI, and 2 runs scored.

Phillies are now 4-1 to begin the season.

I always change it to that status once the bar is full . Maybe that is the issue.

Armor, I have tested this and it is occurring.

I have noticed that the CPU never puts their reliever as ready abd waiting which drains their energy. I have reported the bug but for the time being you have to do this for the CPU in game by switching teams.

It does make sense. 2 games in now and I like it. I've walked 8 batters. It would usually take me about 8 games to do that. In fact at one point I issued 3 in a row and all 3 scored. But it was against the Dodgers and they are just brutally hard to pitch to. Anyways I'm having tons of fun with it off.

I just can't beat the Brewers, ha. Yelich and Cain absolutely destroy me.

                      May 22, 2020 | MILWAUKEE, WI

The Cubs scored twice in top of the first inning but the Brewers came back with three runs of their own in the bottom of the inning on their way to a 9-5 win. The loss snaps the Cubs six-game winning streak. Jon Lester was shaky from the get-go, surrendering seven earned runs on eight hits through just five innings of work. Lester took the loss and fell to 5-3 on the year.

The Cubs pulled within one run after an RBI double by Willson Contreras in the top of the third a a solo homer by Kris Bryant in the top of the fourth, his 10th of the year. However, the Brewers touched the Cubs up for a pair of runs in the fifth and the sixth pushing their lead to four and the Cubs were unable to respond.

Christian Yelich went 3-for-3 including a two-run homer and Lorenzo Cain continued to torch Cubs pitching.

With a win the Cubs would have pulled even in the NL Central division with the Brewers, but the loss moved them 2.0 games back. The Cubs will look to bounce back tomorrow as Kyle Hendricks (6-2, 3.96) takes the hill. The Brewers will toss Corbin Burnes (4-1, 6.23).

The Cubs have beat the Brewers just once out of six games so far in 2020 and manager David Ross knows that sooner or later his club is going to have to find a way to beat the top teams in the division if they hope to compete down the stretch. "We've done a lot of good so far this season and our record reflects that," said Ross. "But we have to find a way to stay competitive in big games... these guys have been there before and I have little doubt that they're capable. We just need to find consistency, especially on the mound."

Cubs pitching continues to be an area of concern for president of baseball operations Theo Epstein. "We're going to have to take a good hard look at where we are and evaluate what the best direction is moving forward," said Epstein. The Cubs currently have the 13th highest team ERA in the National League at 4.62 and have allowed 487 hits in their 52 games.

I gave the 15 cam a shot after watching you.

Hit two 2 run HR in the first inning (Judge, Voit).

Can’t decide if I prefer it to fish eye. Love the stadium view with fish eye.

Yeah, I dig the stadium view with fisheye as well. But you still see most of the stadium with MLB 15 view, plus (most important to me) you can make out the pitcher’s face with MLB 15. I like seeing Scherzer’s eyes peeking above his glove, Kershaw glaring in at me, etc.

                              Finally beat them.

                              MAY 23, 2020 | MILWAUKEE, WI

Kyle Hendricks allowed just three hits as the Chicago Cubs pulled within one game of the division-leading Milwaukee Brewers with a dominant 7-1 victory at Miller Park Saturday night. Hendricks improved to 7-2 with the win and is the only Cubs pitcher to earn a victory over the Brewers, a task which he's accomplished twice.

Corbin Burnes was slated to start for the Brewers but was a last minute scratch due to an undisclosed injury. Reliever Alex Claudio made his first start of the season and shut the Cubs out through the first three innings. But the Brewers southpaw ran into trouble in the top of the fourth giving up a pair of runs. But the big blow came in the top of the sixth when Cubs slugger Kris Bryant belted a two-out grand slam off of the first pitch out of the bullpen from Brewers hurler Ray Black.

Brad Weick, who has been one of the lone bright spots since being called up from Triple-A Iowa on May 14th. The hard-throwing lefty completed the final two innings against the Brewers, not allowing a hit or run and striking out two. Weick has yet to allow a run in 6 1/3 innings in six appearances.

The Cubs will wrap up their extended, 10-game road trip tomorrow at Milwaukee as they look to pull even with the Brewers in the NL Central division. Jose Quintana (3-2, 4.28) will make his 11th start of the year while the Brewers turn to Brett Anderson (2-1, 4.40). The Cubs will be off Monday and travel home to open up an eight-game homestand against the Miami Marlins.

Cubs skipper David Ross has been very pleased with his team's performance on the road trip and hopes that they can end on a high note. "You'd love to come back home tied for first in the division, obviously," said Ross, who is in his first year as manager with the Cubs. "We've had a good run on the road here and showed a lot of poise in some tough games."
