Re: Armor & Swords MLB The Show 20 Classic/Directional Clean Screen Simulation Slider
Important auto fielding + manual button throwing question...
Yesterday I had a hard hit ground ball to my 2B with a runner already on 1st (ideal DP situation). Once my 2B player fielded the ball, I pressed triangle, but he threw it to 2nd instead of tagging the runner whom was literally right in front of him at the time he successfully fielded the ball. Should I have just let him play out the animation? If I didn’t hit triangle, would he have just tagged the runner anyway?
It ended up costing me because it was Buxton on the twins who beat out the double play as he beat the throw to 1st base.
Please let me know, because I’ve had this happen a few times! Thanks!

In that situation you would have to take control of the 2nd basemen to tag the runner.

Since the majority (and I know some don’t) of us use auto fielding, this isn’t the case, but I’m wondering how this can happen with AUTO fielding. I remember watching Armor’s stream a week back, and with runners on 1st & 2nd he forced Arenado to tag the runner moving to third after a grounder was hit to him, and he then pressed circle to complete the DP by throwing to 1B

Re: Armor & Swords MLB The Show 20 Classic/Directional Clean Screen Simulation Slider
Yankees Will Not Deal Arenado Claims GM Michael Sword, Turns Attention TO LHP Patrick Corbin on The Diamondbacks
According to league sources the Yankees have taken Nolan Arenado off the trading block, have not returned the Dodgers call’s anymore regarding the all-star 3B and have turned their attention to native New Yorker LHP Patrick Corbin. The D-Backs have emerged as interested in picking up young MLB ready players and the Yankees have dangled 1B/3B soon to be super star Miguel Andujar, B rated RHP Dave Anderson (23 years young) and a third player who has yet TBD. The D-Backs would send Patrick Corbin and 1B/3B Jake Lamb to the Yankees.
Currently Andujar is the Yankees everyday DH but also has played 1B and 3B. His defense has improved through progression and training, but his bat is really incredibly strong and getting even better each season. He is under team control for several more years as well as young hot starting pitching prospect Dave Anderson (drafted in 2018). The Yankees have tossed around Ceasar Hernandez or Clint Frazier heading to Arizona as well for the hard throwing but oft injured Patrick Corbin and the big right handed bat of Jake Lamb who would slide into a platoon DH role with Tyler Austin.
Sources say the Yankees want to conclude their 10 game road trip (currently on game 4 at Tampa) which will take them through Tampa, Houston and Milwaukee before deciding anything.
Stay tuned!!!Now Playing on PS5:

Re: Armor & Swords MLB The Show 20 Classic/Directional Clean Screen Simulation Slider
I'm having such a blast with my Sauga City Chiefs( Relocated Marlins) It's been a great opening series against the Phillies as we split it and now welcome the defending champs the Nationals . I've always only played using my beloved jays and although I never ever got bored in all this time it's just so refreshing to finally play different teams and visit different stadiums .
I'm loving Villar , Brian Anderson , Dickerson and Aguilar , come to think of it I'm loving this whole squad lol . This team is not all that bad , I really think the Sauga City Chiefs are gonna make some noise this season and surprise everyone .

Armor, I'm not sure what I should try now because I'm still knocking the cover off the ball and consistently blowing teams out halfway through May.
My enjoyment of the game is really starting to take a hit, which sucks because I truly love playing this game other than how badly I keep annihilating my opponent.
I feel stuck now since I'm playing at 10/9 pitch speeds and have followed your advice to a tee this whole time.
Is there anything else that you think could help me out or should I just ride it out?MLB: New York Yankees

Re: Armor & Swords MLB The Show 20 Classic/Directional Clean Screen Simulation Slider
Seeking advice from my fellow GM's. I picked up a guy in the off-season LF Darin Huerta, who I think may have been an unsigned draft pick. Anyhow he is only 18 but he is major league ready in most skills Contact at 60 vs both, Power upper 60's vs both, fielding 80 which is RARE for an 18 year old and speed 70. But the caveat here is he is a C potential and is already rated 75 OVR. So I'm afraid he may never progress. I have him in A ball now and have no plans to promote him yet even though he is the 2nd best LF in my organization. What would you all do here? He has a pretty good trade value. If he were a B or higher the answer would be obvious as he would be a future stud to hold onto.
