In past versions you’d sometimes get a batter ejected for arguing an out call at first base. Don’t recall seeing it in recent years though.

Yes I remember that and it was awesome!!! Shame that it is out of the game now.

If you pay attention to close calls at 1st you will see some irritation play out on the runners side every now and again still. I will be letting that play a factor too.

I’m trying to figure out how to implement this. So if you have any ideas I’m all ears man!!

Maybe the 2nd time a pitcher barks at the umpire you take him out?

I have the umpire calls on the bases to be perfect since we don’t have reviews in the game. So I have it set to perfect cause we should have been able to review the bad call.

Eduardo Rodriguez just fractured his skull while throwing a strike and is out 6 months........ yes really.. I edited the injury to something more realistic that could have happen so he is only out a month

Boston has a injury bug right now Richards broken hand out 2 months Chavis also out 2 months and Brice a couple of weeks.

so Boston now have 2 rookies as starters.. speaking of Boston they just like the series in Baltimore. Baltimore off to a surprise 3-3 start ( I think they will take that this year!)

I also had an insane 0-0 game go to the 11th innings. braves and padres. Fried now has 12 innings with 0 runs in his 2 starts. Davish took a no hitter into the 8th innings the problem was he was at 120 pitches walked 8 guys and the score was still 0-0. Davish had a rough first start so this was a bounce back from him. Braves end up winning this game thanks to back to back homers by Freeman and Ozuna in a 2-0 win.

it is now 1st of April. and the stats are starting to show and calm down now. and everyone gone through the rotation once.

Because SDS screwed up Ohtani and made him a RF I have had to create a pitcher called Ohtani and he will be called up JUST to pitch every 6th day then sent down again. while the 5th starter gets called back up. (this is the only way I can get Ohtani to pitch there has to be 2 of him) Same stats as when he was on the default roster. the face sucks though I am not good at faces and there are no good ones in the vault.

I don't think doing that but SDS decided to screw him up and didn't want him as a pitcher. after going on about two way players being in the game.

MLB 20 is simply incredible on the PS5. True 4K and 60 FPS at all times. Holy mother!!! Like a new game.

And the same can be said for MLB 17, 18 and 19!!!

Blown away at how buttery smooth it plays and the games (17-20) truly shine on the PS5.

Thrilled!!!!

MLB 20 is simply incredible on the PS5. True 4K and 60 FPS at all times. Holy mother!!! Like a new game.

And the same can be said for MLB 17, 18 and 19!!!

Blown away at how buttery smooth it plays and the games (17-20) truly shine on the PS5.

Thrilled!!!!

You know I have to say it....told you lol. Nahhh, glad you're getting to enjoy the Show on PS5. It's crazy how different it feels even coming from the Pro.

It feeling almost like a brand new game makes holding off on 21 even easier, especially with no Y2Y carry this year. As of now, I see no reason to jump to 21 at launch, probably not until there's a big sale.

I didn't bother buying a Pro and just had the ps4 for the 7 years. so you could imagine how awesome the jump was for me from ps4 to ps5. it is great isn't it. and the more each day I play the more I think why the hell do I need to buy 21 for?? unless major announcements happen soon! I still do get a weird glitch where a animation vanishes with the fielder and skips.. and it even shows it in a replay. I think that is more of a programming bug it's happened a few times. but my god MLB 20 is going to get to 1000 hours of play by me by the time I finished it. madden 2003 was the last game I had played this much to death with sporting games.

News update from my season

White sox just swept the Indians with a 8-0 win.. Indians now have lost 5 in a row and off to a 1-5 start for the year while the twins and white sox have 5-1 starts.. Indians are in a HUGE slump.

I have had the PS5 for 4 months now (got lucky getting one day 1) but the thing is IT HAS NO GAMES. yes seriously it has no games, I have Imortals and Miles and both are on PS4 and have the free upgrades of like a dragon and crash 4. all of it's games are also on PS4 and the upgrades are barely visible difference.

I am basically using it because ps4 games look better and run faster on it. and I had skipped the pro over the 7 years just had a ps4 so to me it feels like a brand new console anyway without any new games.

There really is no rush into buying a ps5 for new games reasons. it's gonna be another year ahead before that matters

I got my Ps5 last week but have a digital PS4 copy of 20. Is there any way to upgrade over or should I just fork over another $10 and pick up a disc. At this point I’m not worried about the money I’m just ready to open the box and see what it’s all about!

Ah well, the reality is I pretty much play 2 games all year, Madden during football season for a few months, and MLBTS the rest of the year. I just don't have enough free time to play anything else, and the idea of MLBTS looking even better than it does right now is so intriguing. However, maybe you just saved me from an impulse buy......and for that I can say thank you, at least for now.

Also I see your GIANTS logo. My current franchise is SF rebuild that I started way back last year. I think the only players left on the team post re-build are Seth Corry, Sean Hjelle and Heliot Ramos.

Ps4 games will work on the ps5 you don't need to buy another copy. there is no ps5 copy of mlb the show 20.

If you're not getting rid of your PS4 right away, you have it turned on, set up your PS5, log in account etc, and it gives you an option to start transferring games over. That's it.

If you don't have your PS4, once you log in to your account on PS5 you just go to your purchase library and redownload any digital games you have. They'll show up as available to download.

So I has having a hard time with the audio on MLB 20 last night on the PS5. Things just sounded muddy to put it best, and also SOTS sounded off.

Using the Sony 3D Headphones for the PS5.

Plugged my Sony Golds back in and it sounded a little better but still not what I was used to on the PS4 Pro.

Did some digging on the inter web. And a simple solution was found.

No PS4 games have their audio optimized for this new 3D audio technology on the PS5 so I went to my consoles sound settings and toggled off the “3D” audio and BOOM!

All is right in my ears again and it actually sounds even better than the PS4 Pro now.

As new games for the PS5 come out and take advantage of this 3D audio I can toggle it back on when playing said game.

Thank god.....I was getting
Bummed out as I play 95% of the time with headphones.

The game sounded great on my Bose soundbar but I can’t use that at night when the family is sleeping and I also chat and stream a lot.

Anyway heads up to those upgrading to playing 20 on the PS5.

And yes titanswin53.....you were right!!!!


On another note I am now pitching with no vibration on anymore. It is far better, especially on the PS5 where the vibration is not making sense to me. It is far too sensitive with the new controller (which I love BTW and can’t wait to experience Madden NG with it and feel those hits).

I am actually pitching better and throwing more balls (which is a good thing).

So for those that want the ultimate challenge....turn off the controller vibration and do not use the ball marker (I have been marker-less for years)
