On another note I am now pitching with no vibration on anymore. It is far better, especially on the PS5 where the vibration is not making sense to me. It is far too sensitive with the new controller (which I love BTW and can’t wait to experience Madden NG with it and feel those hits).

I am actually pitching better and throwing more balls (which is a good thing).

So for those that want the ultimate challenge....turn off the controller vibration and do not use the ball marker (I have been marker-less for years)

So I has having a hard time with the audio on MLB 20 last night on the PS5. Things just sounded muddy to put it best, and also SOTS sounded off.

Using the Sony 3D Headphones for the PS5.

Plugged my Sony Golds back in and it sounded a little better but still not what I was used to on the PS4 Pro.

Did some digging on the inter web. And a simple solution was found.

No PS4 games have their audio optimized for this new 3D audio technology on the PS5 so I went to my consoles sound settings and toggled off the “3D” audio and BOOM!

All is right in my ears again and it actually sounds even better than the PS4 Pro now.

As new games for the PS5 come out and take advantage of this 3D audio I can toggle it back on when playing said game.

Thank god.....I was getting
Bummed out as I play 95% of the time with headphones.

The game sounded great on my Bose soundbar but I can’t use that at night when the family is sleeping and I also chat and stream a lot.

Anyway heads up to those upgrading to playing 20 on the PS5.

And yes titanswin53.....you were right!!!!

No vibration is the best thing ever.. I couldn’t imagine going back to vibration ever again. It just feels so free to pitch this way.

Armor which sliders are you using with Bacon’s rosters? Your OP sliders or the classic slider set for the classic rosters? Also, Have you played Colorado in the franchise yet? Wow they are stacked. They just pounded me in a 3 game set!

So reading is fundamental. I found out why i was struggling. First, I had my camera on Wide and not Fish Eye. Also my pitch speeds were at 9/8 and not 7/6 like you have it. Now I'm struggling with being too early on swings but that's fixable

What month you counteract regression?

Once you enter the off-season do it before free agency/qualified offers/arbitration. So players are valued appropriately.

I started a new franchise with the Yankees using a 21 roster set. The Yankees are 4-3 to start the year and on a 2 game losing streak. The Blue Jays made Kluber’s first start at Yankees stadium one that he can forget. Kluber got rocked by the Orioles with 6 runs in 2+
innings. He gave up 4 runs in the first and couldn’t get an out in the 3rd before giving up another 2 runs. Looking to have a rebound start he gave up another 4 runs in the 1st. A good 2nd inning and then couldn’t get an out in the 3rd before giving up 3 more runs. We lost the game 12-5. So Kluber has an opening stat line of 0-2, 4 IP, 13 ER. An ERA of 29.25. He might find himself getting his next start skipped so he can clear his head and maybe work out of the bullpen for a game or two.

SO I have been trying to work out how to do a 6 man rotation without screwing the schedule up.. it's tricky. but a lot of this is going to happen in 2021 so I think it is very important. the only way is to it manually but that manually remember to manually select and work out whos turn it is/ here is the big problem with 6 man. I just did this with giving A J Puk a spot start as the 6th starter.

the game makes you only have 13 pitches the rules changed in the real life before the season kicked off last year. and again before this year there is no limit. the the game has the rule that was suppose to be in that you can't start a game with more then 13 pitchers. this makes 6 man rotations next to impossible.

So the only way to really do it is. the old call up and call down trick. as soon as the 5th stater as pitched send him down the next day. The problem is the game now thinks you are using a 4 man rotation so make sure you do that the next day.. now the calendar will say your Ace is about to pitch call up your 6th man. put him in the BP and pitch him before the game..

The game thinks you skipped your ace. but what you do is move your rotation slots down one after the game of your 6th starter. you send your 6th starter back down call up your 5th... your 5th goes into the 1 hole and everyone else moves down 1

Here is the big problem with doing that. your Ace Morale will drop because he is not in the Ace hole now. he is in the 2 slot and will move one down each week until he gets to the 1 again. and so on. so his attributes will drop for a few weeks.slightly

This is the way to do 6 man rotations and the ONLY way I know that doesn't require fiddling around each day trying to work out who's turn it is on the schedule and manually having to pick a pitcher. so some tips if you are looking at a 6 man rotation. the Angels and Seattle are 2 teams that will be using this that we know of.

Oh and the rookies broke their 5 loss streak beating the dodgers 7-3 dodgers offence is in a slump right now. and the Brewers are off to a terrible 1-5 start too.. the stats are starting to matter now I love this game I love the season I have started!! I am going to update all season till October! I won't sim until I really have to!

In thought I would not land one till Christmas but I simply got lucky getting a Twitter alert that Costco had a restock, jumped right on, added to the cart and checked out quickly.

I truly believe you will be able to get one a lot easier by summer and before year end if you want one.

For playing MLB 20....it is worth it alone just for that game.

Man the quality of the pic on your streams is so awesome on the ps5. I can’t wait to see it in real life. I try every day to get a ps5 just so I can play 20 on it. Lol.
