Not that you or anyone else cares, but I think I am punting on 22.
I can honestly say I've tried everything (probably 75+ games.....armors set, tnk's set, default sliders, all star, all star +, HOF, different hitting views.....nothing compares to 20 using Armor's exact set up.
I guess that is my happy place too

Thanks, I REALLY appreciate your quick response. I was hoping 6/5 was what you guys were using

I also tried 22 and wanted it to “work”. But I had to punt it too.

    Thanks again.

        They are....he is a solid "slider-maker".

If I used zone/meter, I'd probably enjoy his MLB sliders too - they just don't play very good w/ clean screen/directional/classic format.

Having a blast with our 1995 “The Captain” Yankees season replay. Off to an uneven start at 7-8. But only a game out of first. Very early obviously.

Yankees Year 6 - we have one more series and we will be at the AS Break.

I chose to start my classic season run in 1998, because of the expansion teams that didn’t exist yet.

What do you do w/TB and AZ….just sim those games when they are on your schedule?

Their rosters are filled with literally no named players.

            Thanks Armor!

If it's the roster set I created - I'd suggest grabbing a roster file and incorporating a bunch of fake players with solid attributes/ratings. There's really no good way of doing what I did. I never get around to playing a franchise mode, so all I do is just play 3-4 game series in Play Now mode for fun and see how the games unfold.

I was not ignoring ya.......just been crazy busy traveling around with my son in his college baseball recruiting journey.

And with that.....I am very proud to say to you all my son Committed today to William Peace University in Raleigh NC to continue his academic and athletic career!!! My wife and I are incredible proud of him. He has big goals and still has a lot of work ahead of him....but today was a big day for him. Of course this is a proud papa moment for me too.....I can’t lie.

He will be playing in the D3 Conference South Division and playing for what we felt was an incredible coaching staff. Head Coach Charlie Long and Assistant Head Coach Ed Porcelli were truly awesome in his visit today.

We are talking true old school guys who played in the 80’s at the highest levels. They came down to Fort Myers a week ago to watch my son in the Perfect Game BCS 17U National Championships....and they told him they saw one AB.....and knew they wanted him.

He was facing a D1 commit who was sitting 90-91. Very first AB of the game (lead off spot). 3-2 count and he kept battling...foul, foul, foul, foul, then.....boom a deep loud out to RC at the warning track.

They loved his approach and how he handed the stick. They also loved the way he carried himself on the field on defense, always communicating, always moving and being where he needed to be whenever the ball was it....and even between pitches how he held runners at 2B....etc etc etc.

Approach, IQ, and being humble. They saw the qualities that are being overlooked far too often today.

Way too many kids, parents and coaches thinking showcase baseball is where you get recruited. Exit Velo, BP, and radar guns......nope not these guys. They look for baseball players. Yes....you gotta have the skills (and my kid absolutely is a baller) but he is a 5’10 150 pound middle infielder who never jumped off the page on video or at a combine....but when it counts...when the lights are on and the game is actually being played....he delivers.

And that’s how my son knew....he found place to call home. I am so excited for him I cannot even tell you. He will be playing for first class guys and have an amazing 4 years IMO......just an awesome day today.

Awesome news. Can’t wait to draft him in The Show in a few years!

A&S, I certainly wouldn’t worry about your sons size. No doubt they look at that but as you said, he’s a baller……that is what counts.

We had a local high schooler get drafted in the first round this year, 14th pick I think. He went to the Mets. He is 5’8” middle infielder named Jett Williams.

                        Good luck to your son.

Thanks man….and he is far from fully
Grown….he is a late developer which they also loved.

Baseball is a game you don’t have to be tall….but you gotta be strong. He lives in the weight room now….I made him wait till he had both his growth spurts before I let him hit the weights. So he was two years behind a lot of dudes in that regard…..did not matter obviously.

Armor I know you mentioned about bullpen logic in previous post but I can't find it. I am wondering if you are using 2 LRP's, 4 MRP's, 1 SU pitcher and a closer as in the show 22 or is bullpen setup normal. Any one feel free to answer. Thanks

Armor punted on MLBTS22 a few weeks ago - i don't think he's going back to it. I can't vouch for their sliders (don't use them), but S&B seems to have tested this game at length. I do however, trust their stamina and hook sliders, and here is their write up related to bullpen set up/usage: BTW, I've been using this bullpen set up for 7 games now in MLBTS22....I have to say, it's feeling good.

                                Hope this intel helps,

i[B]gdawg1690 shared his bullpen setup with us and we are using that for our franchise. It lets the AI use MRP guys in the middle innings instead of always their LRP. You have to do 30 man control and set lineups to manual. Otherwise, they will reset the spots. We have tested this and the AI will bring in their MRP guys in tied or close games in the 5th or 6th innings. They will even bring in their good RP when they are losing in a close game. Please feel free to ask us if you have any questions.

Put your 3 lowest rated RP pitchers that have less than 40 stamina in the 3 LRP spots.
Take out all the pitchers in the SU1 and SU2 spots.
Put your closer in the closer spot like normal.
Put your highest rated RP’s in the MRP spots.
I put the LRP pitcher in the MRP3 or MRP4 spot.
