I’m using RETRO since a little while too but for a different reason.
Well, my 56yo may not support the fisheye as well but i chose RETRO cam because of all the the views (with strike Zone i don’t really like tho) it’s the one where I feel we’re the closest to the pitcher.
I find it more immersive and having a better read of the ball leaving his hand. I’m indeed using 3 custom versions.
1- main one who’s very close to the original Retro but a bit zoomed in
2- one variation of #1 but with strikezone a bit lifted up ( or cam down if you prefer). That one is used when fighting some good splitter pitchers that are killing me with pitches below the knees. With the bottom of strikezone a bit up in the screen, i find it easier to read to low splitters.
3- this one is #1 where I’m adjusting for some stadiums/time of day where batter’s eye make it difficult. Usually this one is more the opposite of #2 where i move the cam up.
