Just fired up a game after patch, base diamond is back. No blue circle under player anymore! Great job by SDS, and Armor for pressing hard to get both fixed.

Gotta say that's very impressive ! To fix these issues in just 24 hrs shows that these guys actually listen and care about the players . As a FIFA player im not used to this excellent treatment and care lol I Really wish the guys at FIFA would take notes on how to listen to the fan base and how to treat their loyal players . Awesome job , I applaud San Diego Studios .

Folks.......a 24 hour turnaround on the baserunner diamond and we got our blue circle of death removed as well.


It is all systems go!!!!!!!!!!

They listened and responded in incredibly fast order. I knew the veterans at SDS would rise to the occasion and get this right. Makes me feel even worse how I reacted initially to 1.06.

Those guys love this game as much as we do. That is so apparent.

That is great news and now I’ve got something to look forward to after work today.

Big props to SDS great job on getting this fixed so quickly. I dont think that there has ever been a more important time for all of us to be able to get away from the real world and play this amazing game.

With all that is going on in the world and for these guys to get these little things fixed so quickly shows just one reason why SDS and mlb the show are the best.

Swept the first series in Baltimore, but wondering if I should lower power and maybe timing.

Here's the scores with the number of home runs for each team per game:

Game 1: 10-7 - Yankees 5, Orioles 2
Game 2: 8-6 - Yankees 4, Orioles 2
Game 3: 11-8 - Yankees 3, Orioles 6

I have been following these sliders for 8-9 years, so I'm obviously aware of the sample size concept. However, you wouldn't let those kinds of results run for 120+ games. Even a month of games with similar results would be too much. I probably won't make the move just yet, but will consider strongly if I don't see a decrease in power over the next series or two.

Thoughts? How long would you let it ride if nothing changes? There's a difference between being "hot" and genuinely needing to make a slider adjustment, and I feel like this may be a case of that.

I'd at least wait the first month man, for one Baltimore has the worst pitching on the game. Secondly the Yanks entire 1st month of games is a really easy slate of games. There's not a lot of competition in March/April for New York.

So now I can say that this is by far the best baseball game I have ever played! And I have played them all....lol Would I like to have some more in depth stuff of course but nothing matches the gameplay and just the overall feel of MLB The Show 20. Nothing!

This game is totally rocking it out of the park. I love the small things like the little pop up stats. This last game it popped up saying Austin Riley has 26 strikeouts, 7th in the NL. Everything is just so smooth. No more patches needed in my opinion. Sliders are perfect.

The only thing I wish is that we had more sounds of the show options. Like if a team has 3 different strikeout songs I could use all 3. Last year it rotated theme 1 and 2 often so the music was changing. But now with only 2 themes we have limited choices. And the MLB network isn’t very often.

Very minor though but this game is by far the greatest yet. Thanks, Armor for making it better for us.

May be wrong thread, but this is the only one I'm in on the whole site. And the best obviously!
Anyone play with the Angels and if so or anyone with advice on Shohei Ohtani... he pitches and obviously DHs, but his energy doesn't recover to pitch if he is in the DH spot... he's too good to only do one or the other, but I don't see how he can ever pitch except maybe once a month and DH even.
Also, since he is a pitcher, you can't put him into the lineups when managing. Only way to have him in the lineup is to manually do it when the pregame lineup comes up. This isn't nearly as big of a deal as it's pretty simple to sub him in at DH every game.
Any suggestions, specially on the first part?

I too am playing with NYY. Remember how powerful their lineup actually is, and also consider the opponent. Heck look at those production values the Os last year!

I tried a few spring games at 4 and it REALLY nerfed it IMO. I might go with timing first, OR, increase your pitch speeds by 1 each.
