I’m doing some testing and I’m in a tough spot. I can tell hall of fame+ is going to be the sweet spot, but I know 75% of the people reading this won’t want to do the dynamic difficulty grind to get to HOF+, and quite frankly I wouldn’t blame you because it’s annoying as hell.

Obviously HOF got a bit easy and legend..well I just don’t want to put contact below 5 and I would have to do that on legend for the cpu, so naturally HOF+ is where I ended up at.

I’m going to “test” tonight on my Marlins franchise. Reason I say “test” is because I’m just going to keep rolling with my franchise and test this on the fly. I’ll post the game here if anybody wants to tune in and watch how HOF+ plays.

Your guess is as good as mine on how it will play because I haven’t got to play an actual game yet on HOF+, but I have a good gut feeling about it.

I just threw a 3 hit shutout against the diamondbacks. I’m going to take that with a grain of salt because they suck.

I’m going to stick with HOF+ and either going to go with 4 or 5 timing, I can tell you that for sure right now.

I’m also waiting to see if Decent jumps on board with this because I want his opinion as well.

7 of my next 10 games are against Arizona so that’s not ideal for testing this lol. After that I have dodgers, Phillies, Mets, Red Sox. That’s when I’ll know for sure how these are.

As it stands I’ll keep plugging away.

I was at the end of my rope too. Until I tried legend pitching. It is close the last year's HOF if u tweak it. Please give ve it a shot before you mail it in....I did not want to Lowe cpu contact either but the lower human pitching consistency and control balance it for sure...especially when you slow down the arcade fielding.....its really good stuff. Just gotta get over the mental hurdle.....I am using cpu solid hits on 4 though and not 3.

Were actually just going to roll with default HOF+ pitching with the exception of solid hits at 4. Of that doesn’t work I’ll be absolutely mind-blown

I think it will man. For me it has also been so important to find a sweet spot for fielding as well. Seems like the if arm strength is even more insane this year than in years past. I am normally an A and S follower, then add my tweaks...this year has been tough. But I found the combo, I hope, that will get me rolling in my franchise. I like to play every inning and feel the rhythm of the season.....thank you for taking time to test and post man. Y'all have helped make this year bearable and actually enjoyable! It just took some time for sure

Well I guess I’ll do my best to tackle getting to HOF+. Hopefully I can get it. Nolan Ryan vs the worst AA team with tilting the sliders in User pitching should do the trick. I think I will end up using your pitching and hitting values but S&B fielding is tempting. I like the idea of the errors. And I noticed on his that there’s more times that a fielder bobbles a liner or ground ball and results in either the batter beating out the throw or it’s very close. Allows more challenges or chances to challenge. I know you have said before whatever works for each person go ahead with. Just a thought though of maybe looking at it. I found it a positive game change.

Yeah for sure. I think that’s just personal preference there. I see a fine amount of bobbles and errors, but like a said it’s a personal preference.

I told Decent if HOF+ at default doesn’t work I’m taking a break lol. I would be just absolutely stumped.

What are you guys seeing in terms of control of your pitches? I noticed a lot of pitchers have rather low control and in RTTS I am seeing such a low number of pitches actually hit the spot, yes they are still going into the strike zone but sometimes I can throw to the far left and it goes all the way to the right, up and down etc....and I am trying to figure out if this is a RTTS problem or a game problem because I have been using your sliders the entire time so just curious of what you guys are seeing in terms of control.

Well we just switched to HOF+ today but when I was on HOF I lead the league with least amount of walks allowed with the Marlins

Quick update, tried cpu timing at 4 one more time.

Diamondbacks are whipping me 7-1 8th inning. They’ve hit two no doubt HRs and 3 doubles.

I’ll apologize right now for the quick switch but cpu at 4 is where it needs to be.

I’m just happy the cpu has life again. If the diamondbacks are doing this to me I’ll be scared what the Dodgers do to me next series.

Also, somebody mentioned earlier errors...

I’ve had freakin 4 this game with errors at defeat so they have really cost me.
