If anybody is using this set I apologize for all these changes. Don’t hate me.
As I pitched on HOF it felt so off. The cpu was zero threat and at the same also I couldn’t strike them out.
My tipping point (after multiple games) was when I threw a 92 pitch complete game shutout with Chris Flexen with ONE strikeout. This isn’t just a one game decision obviously. to add on top of this, I am not a statistic obsessed player on this game but I do like it to be SOMEWHAT realistic..my last two games I pitched 18 innings and had TWO strikeouts. That’s just not right. I then tried to lower timing for the cpu, after I did that they would literally be late on 77 mph changeups and stuff. It looked ridiculous and really dampened my gameplay.
THAT BEING SAID. I’m changing this to a strictly all star set. Where it’s more difficult on the user side for hitting and pitching. Like I said, anybody that’s using these and have not jumped ship during all this change, my bad.
I just refuse to make these massive slider changes where in the end ratings are just useless, I made that mistake in past versions of games..it’s a massive rabbit hole. I try to stick to default as much as possible and I wasn’t able to do that on HOF. So human sliders, default besides timing. Im putting at 2. I know that sounds crazy but it balances out me putting user solid hits back to 5, and it’s honestly a nice bridge between AS and HOF this year. Every hitting slider on cpu side is at default.
