For me personally they can have all those damn bells and whistles they need to fix the damn error that causes the dynamic difficulty to reset itself.

If they can fix that they can roll out the same damn game and I would be just as satisfied.

Plus for whatever reason button accuracy is pretty much unusable if you plan on playing all the games like me. If you try to preload the outfield throw using it the OF will miss picking up the ball. That fielding method is made for people who play one game at a time online. Some people may just be gifted with it and can use it but there are too many bugs with that method. If you plan on playing long term you pretty much have to choose Buttons or just use the auto fielding.

All the adjustments they are doing with swing timing is all going to even itself out over the course of a season anyways.

Australia. yeah the dollar does convert to be less but still it isn't the same price the US would pay so US would be $70 so $154- 105 US so it still is ridiculous price, anyway people hate it on here when I cry about prices for games so I will stop about it. just wanted to point out I will still be using the sliders for a few more months on 22 and enjoying it.



I finished every game of opening day. can't wait to play a game a night and just relax playing

Deluxe Version is $100 here in the US. Which is pretty normal for Deluxe Versions. I don't think I've ever gotten a Deluxe Version of a game, though. To each their own, just doesn't seem nearly worth the price to me.

The biggest and best change this for the game likely isn't coming from SDS.

The new balanced schedule where every team plays the other at least once is one of the biggest changes in MLB history.

If you are franchise like me this is seismic.

I will get to see a LOT more stadiums as well. A lot of different lineups.

The biggest and best change this for the game likely isn't coming from SDS.

The new balanced schedule where every team plays the other at least once is one of the biggest changes in MLB history.

If you are franchise like me this is seismic.

I will get to see a LOT more stadiums as well. A lot of different lineups.

Yeah, I totally agree. And the new playoffs. You will see a lot of people get the game for that reason and not get the game in 24 if it’s not a huge difference.

Seeing a big difference on the shift bans already. Might be a good thing for baseball.

That is another good point. The shift bans are also going to change the game. You are a franchise guy like me. Everyone else is complaining that the graphics are the same and about the similar game engine etc etc. Those are the Diamond dynasty players. Nothing wrong with playing that mode but if you are a Franchise guy MLB has already revolutionized the game for you.

During the first month of the season the Mets play 17 of 23 on the road including 3 games at Oakland.
Never been done before. You are literally playing history even at a video game level.

I wasn't going to get 23, but THIS...and the new playoff system. I'm so tempted despite all the time I've put into my Nationals rebuild on '22. I don't want to keep playing the AL West every year (I don't think they ever fixed the interleague season-to-season schedule).

By the way, I love following your Nationals season. I’m tempted to do a Nationals season next year. Tempted to do one now and play maybe the first month.

You are the perfect scenario for someone to get 23 and keep it and play that for years.

And it would help your Nationals out with that division lol.

I know it wouldn’t be exact and it might be a lot of work. But you could try to replicate your season and put it on 23. Would just have to move players around in rosters and then use that roster for your franchise. Your season wouldn’t have to go down in vain. At least write down the main players on each team and move them on 23 and adjust their contracts.

Thanks, I honestly can't believe the love it's gotten haha. It's been so fun, and so far my second season has seen so much improvement.

I'm thinking of maybe completing this entire season and offseason, and then I could switch to '23 and edit the rosters like you said. It wouldn't be perfect but, it would be the smoothest possible transition. Plus it will give me time for SDS to smooth out any bugs with the game on launch. We'll just have to wait and see.

I've just been posting it in countryboy's 2022 Franchise thread...as much as I want to make a spreadsheet and share stats/standings etc I'm afraid with my hectic work schedule I won't be able to keep up with it. Plus my computer skills aren't what they once were (I haven't used Excel since I was in high school) haha. That being said, I have been typing up writeups for each series this season instead of just posting general updates. It also sucks that I play on the Switch and I haven't figured out how to share screenshots...I tried once and it would not load on the forums.

This is why I play every game on the schedule to start with till I decide to start only controlling 1 team. I get a feel for different teams stadiums players. etc I usually play April with every single game on the schedule until moving to just 1 team

I normally just add transactions during the season, and then fill in the stats when I trade/DFA a player or at the end of the season for everyone else. But I'll definitely be using it again next season. Probably going to use the Mariners in 23 after using my favorite team the Braves the last two seasons.
