I will play a couple of games tonight and let you know with the changes. but I have to say no complaints so far love what I am seeing so far.

I guess early on in that game I played I found the contact a bit weak and even with the fouls at 0 LOTS were still happening! but that is fine. small sample size

I think there is new angles in the broadcast field view just something seemed different with the hits that might make it feel like contact is different this year.

Yeah, we can keep an eye on that. I got bumped to HOF on hitting and pitching now. We will see how that goes. I just played as the Giants against the Brewers. HOF batting and Allstar+ Pitching until the 9th when it went to HOF.

Giants 2 8 0 - 1 HR, 2 doubles, 2 BB, 11 K
Brewers 1 5 0 - 1 double, 4 BB, 12 K

My next game will be on all HOF.

I just played a game on 21 using these. I beat the Yankees 1-0 using Degrom.
I got 6 hits and the Yankees got like 5. I should have lost because Judge hit a bomb to center with 2 runners on but I was playing in Forbes Field which is huge. He hit the pitch to the 457 part of center and my CF ran it down and caught it. That would have been a homer in a modern park. I was playing in Forbes as a spring training game.

Good results from the sliders.

Finally the OF make good throws instead of the weak ones and the baserunners don't take unrealistic extra bases.

My next two games were on HOF. I was the bolded teams.

PIT 3 7 0 - 1 2B, 1 3B, 3 BB, 17 K
STL 5 11 0 - 5 2B, 1 3B, 5 BB, 8 K

MIA 0 6 0 - 1 2B, 1 BB, 8 K
SF 1 5 0 - 1 HR, 1 2B, 2 BB, 4 K

I’m testing all stamina at 8. We had that last year. And with Quick Counts, pitchers get to 100 pitches faster. With 8, I am seeing pitchers start getting their stamina turn yellow at 100 pitches. Might try 7. Seems like this day in age, they aren’t going much over 100. The bullpens I noticed are low of stamina when I pick a game. So we will keep an eye on that.

I’m also testing CPU Hook at 8 during sims. I’m seeing a lot of complete games around the league.

I was able to get three games in. Here are the box scores and some way too early impressions. ** team I controlled

Nationals- 1 4 0 (3bb 8k); two 2B, two 1B
**Mets- 3 10 0 (4bb 12k); two 2B, six 1B, one HR

**Yankees- 16 18 0 (5bb 12k); four 2B, eight 1B, six HR
Rangers- 3 9 0 (3bb 6k); three 2B, five 1B, one HR

Phillies- 1 4 0 (4bb 10k); three 1B, one HR
**Astros- 2 7 0 (1bb 16k); six 1B, one HR

Using dynamic difficulty I seem to be right at HOF pitching this year. It feels similar to what legend did last year actually. I am at HOF+ hitting thanks to the Yankees. That game was a blowout starting in the third inning. Gallo and Rizzo both hit two homers. Judge and Donaldson hit the other two. And 5 of the 6 homeruns were multiple runs. I had three 3 run homers. Just a wild one.

One caveat is when I went up 5-0 in the 3rd inning the cpu didn't immediately yank the SP for the LRP as in years past. He got the last out there but after a leadoff swinging bunt single to begin the 4th he was pulled. Manager hook at 5 for SP seems good and at 10 for bullpen is a must as they still left RP out for multiple innings. Granted it was a blowout so it was understandable.


Definitely feel like legend pitching will not be necessary this year! I got to HOF+ pitching and then dropped back to HOF. Last year I was easily cruising through to Legend before getting knocked around a bit. HOF again feels similar to legend last year without having to nerf the cpu contact and offense thankfully.

So played a 11-2 win over pirates as cardinals another gran slam this time eldmsn

Pirates bp was pathetic awful! Every player gave up runs it was 2-2 when they came in

Next game Boston shut me out 4-2 I only had 2 hits with Tampa 1 a homer to meadows


Now my starter was in the red at 70 pitches had to cone out in the 5th notices for me anyway most seem to run out of stamina by 90 pitches not 100. Even de grom did,


It’s possible this year starter stamina may have to bump to 6 or 7 I’ve noticed it really matters this year. When I’ve got runs it’s when the starter is empty.

Cpu bp logic great so far they actually take out LR finally after 2 innings and not leave in forever, remains to be seen if they take stamina into account in games ahead though like just going the LR under 5 innings everytine or closed off n 9th even if no energy we shall see!

I am testing the SP stamina at 7 and it looks pretty good. DeGrom went 112 pitches against me in 7 IP. He was red at that point. I didn’t look to see when he turned yellow.

Niner, you going to put out a roster soon? I found a decent roster that has all the latest moves. Im just ready to dig in and start instead of doing these random games.

Sim sliders have been updated.

When you sim, change the sliders to below.

CPU SP Stamina: 5
CPU RP Stamina: 1
CPU Hook: 8

Trying fielder speed at 2 to see if that makes any difference.

Pitcher had a unexpected throwing error to first. Runners also can beat out the slow rolling balls deep to short now. No more miracle throws from the deep.

I will be using these sliders this year without a doubt.

I pulled a couple of the wild cards as well. One increased the outfield errors and the other reduced the power for both teams.

Very good game day experience with these sliders.
