    One more stadium question.
I never get a chance to play in Fenway.
I am thinking of playing a few games here or there in Fenway. Maybe switch the stadium of a few of my road games.

Do you think something like that would mess up the realism?

That would be cool. Make it like a special weekend or something. Or New York is getting bad weather sontbey decided to move the games to Boston lol

        Good idea.

What makes baseball special is that the parks are all different. Each one is a totally different environment.
I never see the AL parks so they are fun to play in

Are injuries still looking good at 10? I'm only asking because one of my players somehow injured his head on a swing lol. He didn't get hit or anything. Really weird, maybe he gave himself whiplash from whiffing on a Scherzer curveball

I have had a few 1-2 month long injuries. I might try 8 since Armor changed his to 8. I figured if he likes it at 8, I trust his judgement.

At 10 I think I've only had like 2 injuries in my last 20 games. One of them was a day to day thing and the other was a 2-3 month injury.

Yeah I didn’t think 10 was too much. I lost Robbie Ray and Kyle Lewis for 1-2 months and Kelenic for 2 weeks. I don’t think I had that many day to day injuries. If you feel comfortable with 10, I would keep going with it.

Following up on injury at 10: I really like it so far. I've had a couple of pitchers have to leave games due to tightness or a blister, and I don't think I've ever seen that before with injury at 8.

Yeah I like it at 10 as well. Sure makes you nervous when your best player gets injured during a game. Had one said that Kyle Lewis might have played the last game of the season. And then luckily it was only 1-2 months so that was a relief.

How’s the sliders working for you?

They’re pretty great. Im seeing a lot of variety in hits and plays that really mirror what you might see irl. For example Gallo was in RF and misplayed a ball in the corner, allowing Story to stretch a double into a triple. A lot of small things that really elevate the gameplay experience!

That said, I’m going through a hitting slump and am thinking about upping foul frequency to extend some ABs since I don’t do quick counts. I’m also using ViatorLions roster and am striking out like crazy lol. So it might not be a sliders issue but more so a mixture of user error and troubles with a new roster set that placed an emphasis on really low vision ratings for hitters.

Had the same issue with that roster set, finally upped the timing (+1) on user and cpu for game play sliders and that seems to have made things more balanced. Upping contact doesn't work, produces too many hits. I'm about 10 games played since and really enjoying the rosters now.
if it wasn't for the gutter my mind would be homeless...

Has anyone done any extensive testing on setting the power slider to 3.

I am considering trying that but I don't want to nerf my power.

It seems like I am hitting a lot of homers but that may not be because of the sliders. I am very patient at the plate and will take pitches until I get something decent.

I may try the slider at 3 for a week or two in my franchise season to see the results.

Yes, that is the thing we are testing. We noticed the same thing. We want some games to not have a home run. Seems like that is hard to do. I looked at a week of games in real life and about 20% of games do not have a home run. But I think the home runs are a little much. We are trying power at 3 and solid hits at 6. We have been getting really good results so far. The cpu still hits home runs and still hits extra base hits.

Some games I don't see any homers but usually there will be at least one home run somehow.

Both pitchers have to be on their game for the HR to be eliminated in any individual game.

The thing I’m watching for is the speed of the ball being hit and making sure that isn’t too weak. From watching Steve’s games and my own, they should be fine.
