11-7 with the Braves so far.

I also am going to play some games with the Mets too. I am planning on using the Braves in 23 but I am starting to consider the Mets again.

I am having just one issue with the sliders. Too many of my batters are getting hit by pitches. I had like 3 in one game. Other than that they are working out great.

The gameplay is real to the point that it is frustrating.
It's that good and realistic. I will be playing all 162 in 23 and the Mets have better contact hitters. Just like real baseball if you change one factor it can change everything.

Are you getting hit or are you hitting their batters? You can raise their consistency a little but I don’t want it to affect other stuff. Might just have to have it be one of those things we live with.

Are you using these sliders pitching on HOF?

I am the one getting hit by the pitches. I guess I should just be grateful for the extra baserunners.

I have been using HOF for my pitching but I haven't had any issues on my side.

I also just reinstalled the game so I can use dynamic difficulty once again. That is just the fastest way to fix it once it messes up.

Well I’ve played a few games nor after 6 months and wow !! The changes have made it even better than before.

It’s good that a perfect hit is rare happened way to many times before that’s the timing being on 0 working !

Strikeout pitchers show more here than ground ball or fly ball pitchers. You can tell the different now so verlander is different

Well I’ve played a few games nor after 6 months and wow !! The changes have made it even better than before.

Excited for 23 to come out. We will have a slider set started. Still having a blast on 22. I can say is the presentation is sooooo much better than what it was at release. Looking forward to seeing how much they can improve on top of that. Look forward to seeing you on early release.

I am going to play a full 162 game season on MLB the Show and a 82 game season with the Celtics on 2K.

Somehow I will do it. If I have to crawl up inch by inch.

Not sure whether I will use the Mets or the Braves yet .

I am watching the Feature video about the Negro Leagues. I am finding it to be very interesting. I primarily play the Franchise mode but I will have to check out the Negro Leagues Storyline.

So I am assuming we will be able to play Negro League games in the stadiums that they put in the game. In that case it will be a absolute blast to see how the sliders work with those games.

Yeah that will be interesting. I don’t know if they would let us use custom sliders or not. Might just be based on difficulty level like MTO is. I would love MTO if we could use custom rosters and/or sliders. Even if they just let us use the live rosters instead of the base rosters.

it is just so hard to get the CPU to use the BP in a blowout game,

they just love going to the LR and sticking with them for the rest of the game no matter what. doesn't matter how tired they are, the only way is the old controller swap. It seems the CPU only decides to actually manage the BP in a close game when it is 3 or less runs.

There is no way to really fix this but to manually do it yourself. the Devs really have to look into that this year (well lets hope they have) and sort out this LR problem. There has to be something in the AI that says don't automatically go to the LR if your starter sucks or gets injured. because they will even if they have 0 stamina from previous games.

Anyway almost played all the games for opening day with my 2023 roster with these sliders. and there is nothing I can think of that needs to be changed the BP issues are a gameplay problem not slider problem.

standout game was Phillies beating Houston 5-0 3 big homers it was 5-0 after 3 innings and it stayed that way as I shut out the world series champs Hoskins pulled a calf out 2 to 3 months.

a 1-0 win for brewers over D Backs. and then there were some blowouts where twins beat white sox 10-2

this is exactly how it should be so much variety, I don't see a reason to get 2023 right now other then the new playoff system and schedule. honestly I would not bother buying it if not for that so they are gonna have to wow me big time in the next month to change or mind or I will just wait a few more months for mlb 23 (the deluxe version is $155 here!! insane!!!)

That is crazy expensive. Is that all games I imagine?

Did you try putting two RP with stamina under 40 in the LR spots? That seems to help a bit. I was up 10-2 on one game and they used 5 RP pitchers starting int the 4th inning. They brought in their closer in the 8th and he went like 1.1 IP.

Australia. yeah the dollar does convert to be less but still it isn't the same price the US would pay so US would be $70 so $154- 105 US so it still is ridiculous price, anyway people hate it on here when I cry about prices for games so I will stop about it. just wanted to point out I will still be using the sliders for a few more months on 22 and enjoying it.

I finished every game of opening day. can't wait to play a game a night and just relax playing

I am trying these sliders in the tech test. They seem pretty close. Don’t know if we will still need fielder speed low. I have been getting hit hard with these sliders so far.
