What does everyone think of the new feature that allows you to control how you sim or play your franchise games?

I think it is a good feature I just wish they added MORE things like that.

I also like the fact that you now can choose franchise rosters with or without injuries.

Franchise mode could be really great if they would add more things to it so we can get a full GM experience.

If you have ever played 2k franchise mode you know how extensive and detailed that it is. It is so deep you can't even keep track of everything sometimes.

It probably will be good for younger generation that can’t play a full season. It might be fun for a rebuild to do the first year or two if people don’t mind simming. I’m glad that it looks like you can change it at any time. It did give you an option that says skip and set later.

For a while, it sounded like we would not get any franchise updates since it wasn’t advertised. So I had low expectations so it didn’t disappoint me too much. I know people like the awards stats but I would rather have them show both the player’s MLB and AAA stats on their card.

Hey Bryan, how ya been? not sure if you remember me but I really enjoyed your sliders last year, I just got burnt out on what seemed to be constant tweaks (not your fault) and never really being able to "settle in"...lol

I have been playing 23 here and there, and will be playing 24 next week with the early access stuff on Xbox, I am glad to see that you have been playing on HOF as well...one more quick question, do you still plan on using quick counts?

I remember the strikeout issue that DarthRambo had last year, which I had never encountered as I didn't use QC, but I had always thought that that may be the problem..obviously not positive but just a hunch.

Anyway glad to see you will be back in the mix this year as well

Been using this time to test some sliders out to hopefully be able to use for 24. TC gave me some good suggestions and what works for him. So looking to tweak some things and hopefully get a good HOF close to default set.

I don’t blame you for getting burnt out last year. I HATED the fact we had to keep tweaking these sliders. I actually enjoy playing without quick counts cause now I can track strike percentages and everything.

I have also been doing what Armor has been doing with the raising the opponents SP stamina by 10. That seems to help.

Great to hear you don't use QC anymore...I had always felt that that seemed to be a lot of the issues last year, but was never 100% sure so I never mentioned it.

I'll be definitely looking forward to your set this year, as I felt your sets last year (especially the early ones) gave me what I was looking for.

Did anyone see what happened on the feature premiere??

Go to the 53:35 mark of the feature premiere.

The female player runs to third base.

When she reaches third base the two players clip together and she morphs right through the third baseman.

Unbelievable. No other sports game does that. Not NBA 2K not FC 24 none of them. They are all using next Gen player models.

I am trying to figure out how they missed that when they edited the video.

ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE.

I am still excited for the game but definitely not like the past two years.

I'm considering waiting until Tuesday to play the game and not getting the $40 early access for Gamepass.
The improvements were underwhelming to say the least.

I am kind of in between with it all now. You can't even download the game on Xbox right now anyways. Pre download has been for PlayStation.

I have a feeling that I will get to 12am Friday and wind up getting early access.

Lol if it is playing like 23 is right now it won’t be too long. Really want to avoid multiple versions this year and get them locked in.

I was thinking along those same lines as well, I'll have to go back to the first page of this thread and see what your last sliders were, those were on HOF and without QC correct?

Also, for some reason I never could get the hang of classic pitching, I tried and tried and thought I could grasp it, but it just wasn't in the cards, so I went back to ol' faithful meter pitching...lol
