This was another close game. I won on a home run in the bottom of the ninth by Nimmo. This is with the CPU contact at 7. I notice that it is very hard to get star players out in key situations. Just like in real life if you make a mistake you will get killed.

The Mets lineup can still hit.

Do you guys find that at times it feels like the sliders don’t work? I find that it feels like the cpu does nothing and has no offence at all despite having contact, timing and solid hits maxed in franchise, but then I fresh reboot the game, re enter my sliders and they are a threat.. is there some issue where the game doesn’t recognize slider changes in an already existing franchise?

I'm not sure. It is crazy. Like, for 3 games I tried CPU contact at 7 and they hit less and struck them out more. Put contact back at 6 and they started to hit again.

What would be the one slider that you depend on most to reduce cpu strikeouts ?

Raise cpu contact and lower human control

In my set up I have control at 1 and cpu contact at 7. I used to have cpu contact and timing at max but go figure they hit better with lower contact and timing sliders lol..

Yeah I noticed that too. What are your settings and are you using Legend?

Yes I’m legend pinpoint, control at 1 and consistency at 0. Should I raise control ?

I’m not sure. If you are gettting great results I would not touch it. As long as you aren’t always throwing hangers.

Whenever all these signings are finished I am going to use the latest rosters to start a franchise with and use that as my Spring Training like I did last year.

It is a great way to audition a team.

We are less than 120 days from the release of The Show 24.

Very good game. Sliders still working well.
The new look Mets have a very good defense.

One of the craziest games I have ever played. I was winning 11-5 and they came back to make it 11-9 in the 8th. I scored 3 in the top of the 9th to put the game away.


THE CPU DOES NOT STOP HITTING no matter what.

This just proves that people complaining that the computer cant hit just need to adjust the sliders.

People act like it is impossible to make adjustments to the game.

When the CPU got the score to 11-9 it became a test of my managerial skill to keep the lead.
