Re: S & B’s Directional/Classic MLB 23 Sliders
In my franchise the Braves have won 11 straight games and are in 1st place.
I am 15-7 and playing good but they keep winning.
It's unbelievable.
The Phillies have won 4 in a row and are right behind me.
It seems I have the season where it is shaping up to be a tough division race.
People have simulated seasons where the Braves and Phillies don't do jack. I wish that was the case for me.
The realism is on point this year.Comment

My Phillies started 3-7 and have now won three in a row for a 6-7 record. The last two wins coming on walk-offs by Josh Harrison.

Re: S & B’s Directional/Classic MLB 23 Sliders
I absolutely love the way the ball comes off the bat with these. When I was using default sliders the only way to get an extra base hit was to hit a rocket but now there is so much variety, you can hit a ball that hangs up in the air but still splits the outfielders and rolls to the wall. The fly outs look so much better too, without sliders I always felt like there were a ton of well hit balls that looked like sure extra base hits and then the cpu just nonchalantly gets to the ball and makes the catch. Now outs look like outs. I just need to work on my timing, in about two weeks worth of games Pete Alonso and Francisco Lindor are the only guys I’ve hit home runs withComment

Re: S & B’s Directional/Classic MLB 23 Sliders
In full Sims with this setup, here's what I was getting approximately (no injuries)
LRP - 50-60 appearances
MRPs - 70-80 appearances
SUs - 50-70 appearances
CP - 50-70 appearances
Yes, having ur highest non closer in SU2 will absolutely be used, sim and in game. In game example today, CPU up 2-1 thru 7, starter was in. CPU warmed up both SUPs, lefty and righty. Brought in the righty since I had three straight RHs up. Closer in the 9th, I tied it. Brought in the lefty SU in the 10th.
Did a few more sims today. Stopped bi-monthly, swapped the LRP with the lowest used MRP. End of season, innings were closer to 1 for all.
Also I don't recommend using a SP in the bullpen at all (unless you edit his stamina below 30), unless it's for you. CPU will use them as often as the other relievers, but they will average 2-3 IPS per appearance. End of season 70 appearances 140-150 innings for example. Higher stamina = more usage.if it wasn't for the gutter my mind would be homeless...Comment
