Re: Rmiok222 MLBTS 23 Legend Sliders
I agree. Solid hits at 6 made hitting too easy. I was avg like 12+ hits a game . Timing +1 is way more balanced. I also put strike frequency back to 5. I still get walks and I feel like the CPU doesn’t throw as many meatballs. At 4 it felt like the CPU was always 1-0, 2-0 to each hitter.
Yeah it’s always nice if you’re able to put something back on default. At 4 I actually feel like there’s less meatballs since they don’t go into the zone as much. Def personal preference though.

Re: Rmiok222 MLBTS 23 Legend Sliders
Hey guys. Trying to dial in sliders and I really value the opinion of y’all that find these and S and B’s sliders to your liking. Got a question. What is a good/realistic hard hit %? Seems like exit velo is mostly affected by solid hits. Power being raised doesn’t seem to add the exit velo that solid hits does. Seems like power at 6 produces not enough but solid hits at 6 produces too much. This applies to both cpu and human hitting but I’m trying to make cpu hitting more difficult/dangerous to face but trying to keep it realistic as well.
Appreciate any insight y’all might give. I’m gonna pose the same question in S and B’s as well. Kinda crowd sourcing from like minded players

I’m not good for this question but it’s a perfect question for Brian and Steve. I don’t focus too much on that stuff. I just look for the right results and realistic gameplay.

You know man, I’ve just never been one that likes to mess with timing sliders so I’m glad you’ve went back to defaultComment

Yeah it’s played the best with contact at 6 both sides, for me at least.

The timing window on legend is tough. I like the bump to 6 while lowering solid hits back down. I'm still afraid to raise CPU power to 6. How does everyone select their pitches? I always go with the catcher and allow myself to step off once per batter in hopes of getting a different sign. That definitely plays a role.

The window is tough on legend but I was absolutely raking. If you like the 6 timing roll with it.
As far as cpu power I’m over 50 games in. I’m giving up around 1 HR per game with a team ERA around 3.55. I have had games where the cpu has hit 4 homeruns and I’ve gone 3-4 games giving up zero. I’ve giving up 13 runs to the marlins and also have shut out a few teams so far. I love cpu power at 6 personally.

Id definitely bump up power, right now my sliders are kinda a hybrid between these and Lowes. I have the CPU batting from here with human pitch control at 3 using meter. Feels good so far most games have been a challenge, last game tho Miles Mikolas went 7 striking out 12. CPU timing might need to be bumped one but I'll give it another 10 games or so and see if it evens out.

Re: Rmiok222 MLBTS 23 Legend Sliders
Any tips for getting more HRs and hard hits? I'm barely hitting any HRs, not even balls to the warning track. I seem to be hitting a lot of pop ups and weak fly balls.Comment

I’d bump timing back to 6. The legend timing window is tough. You’d square up more pitches for sure.

Thanks. I'll give that a try. Maybe it will also help at the high rate I'm striking out at since I backed it down to 5.Comment
