I really like this set, but what's your experience with injuries? For me it's like 7 out of 10 times when a player dives for a ball or slides into a base he gets injured. I lost so many guys with broken fingers and damaged shoulders, however there are hardly any other injuries after 70 games in my franchise.

That's normally how you get them. There is a limit of how many guys you can have injured though. You may have reached that and that is why you don't see injuries.

Using all star and the 550055 settings and had this game! I hit 8 home runs. Varsho hit 3 off his first 3 at bats. I had a run of 3 straight home runs, 2 of them back to back. Had another back to back in the 7th also lol PXL_20240602_224643018.jpg

That is crazy. I think I have hit 5 in a game once. Kind of funny. The record homeruns in a game by one team is 10 and by the Blue Jays back in 1987.

Hey do you guys know if there is any real difference when using dynamic difficulty when reaching a + stage?
Example is legend + really harder than regular legend etc ??

The PCI is just a little bit bigger on (+). But probably wouldn’t make a huge difference. But it wouldn’t hurt if you are struggling to find CPU offense. We have found a good balance with what we have. I’m the Dodgers and we got swept by the Braves and then swept the Marlins.

Quick question, you guys play 30 team control right? First year I’m trying it out and got everything set up the way I wanted. I switched the CPU profile, so everything was set to auto apart from Lineups. It’s been 2 months and not a single trade, and very minimal free agent pickups. There is not 1 single player on the trade block either. Am I missing something? (Probably lol)

I've seen others mention this. There's a whole thread dedicated to it in the main forum. I haven't been following along since I make all trades manually. The only thing I can think of is it you turned Roster Control On or CPU Trades Off in setup for your franchise. You can check out that thread and see if they came up with any solution.

For those using the Allstar hitting setup of 5/5/0/0/5 like we are and need a slight reduction of hitting prowess (like I did/do), raise foul frequency all the way up to 10.

After nearly 60 games played everything as far as hit distribution is perfect. However, batting average was at .271 which is just far too high. Especially for a Reds team who real life hit a measley .217.

Without going to HOF default, which I've tried many times and just do not have fun with it. Swing and miss too often and strikeouts galore, I wanted to try to remedy this while staying on Allstar hitting.

Raising this does two things. Takes away those extra 1-2 hits per game that land just foul, including homeruns that just go fair. Takes away those "cheap" hits where you're jammed and swing late and it will flair into no man's land between the 1B/3B and RF/LF just barely fair for a hit. Those will now land foul. Also, if you're like me and strikeout too much raising foul frequency helps stay in an at bat and foul off pitches otherwise were swing and misses before.

I know it may sound crazy, but honestly our sliders are kind of known for some out of the box settings, ie baserunner and fielder speed sliders. Anyways, this is again for those using our Allstar hitting setup. Hitting is very much player to player dependent though. Impossible to have a one size fits all setting.

It's not perfect and I'm definitely not going to get my average to drop to .217 nor do I want to lol. But if this gets me down to at least .250-.255 I'd be happy. And so far it feels much better without nerfing my hitting to the ground.

Yeah, I would read that thread towards the end. They are trying to find the trigger for it. Countryboy thinks it’s something to do with it resets and trades go back on after every franchise phase. Like July 1st is a start of

Thank you, I’ll take a look! I’m pretty sure I didn’t toggle any of these settings on start up, but maybe inadvertently I did. I spent ages setting up accurate lineups and manually injuring players, so don’t really want to go back to the start and do it all again lol.

I think there is a way to find out. Start a new franchise and look at the cpu roster control button and read the description. It should tell you what you can’t do. And then see if you can do it in your franchise.

I wondering if anyone has used these sliders with fidelity to reality roster. If so how is that combination playing.
I am going to start a franchise using that roster and version 3 of these sliders. I wanted to know how the low stamina of bullpen pitchers and rerates are holding up. Or would you recommend using live roster with these sliders. Thanks
