Just for reference, recent results using these sliders but with CPU contact at 7:

lost 8-5, won 4-0, lost 8-6, won 6-3, won 4-2, lost 4-2.

I have some good pitchers, R. Detmers, R. Suarez, D May, M King.

I follow the catcher's suggestion every pitch.

With meter, I know I would eventually be able to hit that line more and more with experience...but I don't know if that matter. On classic pitching, I can leave the ball down the middle and they won't hammer it most of the time. It is almost like a slump mixed in with the confidence that sliders aren't fixing.

I think this might have started in 23 when they added those two lower level difficulties.

so is using the catchers suggestion the fix? should we still use version 4 if we do that

I am not sure if that is the answer. My pitching might just be hot. My last 11 games with version 4. Just hate how they have 5-6 hits 9 out of 11 games.

I am not sure if that is the answer. My pitching might just be hot. My last 11 games with version 4. Just hate how they have 5-6 hits 9 out of 11 games.

what if they do this on purpose because they want players with any level of competence to play online? I follow an Show fan page on Facebook and I see people posting their 140-20 records, their team stats that show 500+ homers. Like, the game knows they can pander to those lame people, so they just dont care

I think they need to separate online mode and offline mode. Like thry wanted to make less foul balls. Adjust that on competitive and ****** mode. Leave simulation alone. Even on patch 12 in the notes it says it will affect offline mode to an extent. They should not touch simulation. If you are playing offline franchise and you want less foul balls, then you could play on ******.

But yeahs, what 13 year old kid wants to lose 9-0 and be in last place in the season?

Agreed.. it’s become very frustrating as it feels impossible to find a good balance. What also sucks is that legend + is really no different.. running out of options I’m afraid

Just by curiosity, what if you keep same pitching settings but on Legend instead of HoF ?

Agreed.. it’s become very frustrating as it feels impossible to find a good balance. What also sucks is that legend + is really no different.. running out of options I’m afraid

one thing I did last season and it made a diff so much so that I lost in the playoffs.. I lowered each pitchers ratings by 15 points. maybe need to adjust the pitch attributes, as well. could be a last ditch effort

Yo Bryan I finished my first Mets franchise. I just wasn't coming on the forum as much.

I am going to start up another Mets franchise with the current free agency rosters. They added some good pitchers.

I came back for another season because CFB 25 is absolutely terrible. So much wrong with the game it is hard to get into it.

I definitely can do another franchise and give some feedback.

What did you see wrong with CF25? I enjoy it but I think there was a lot of hype at first.

For one thing it just a barebones game. You have all the teams and you can play dynasty with the current roster but that is it. You cant edit players or anything. No classic teams.

One thing I was getting sick off is that they didn't even put the opposing teams fans in the game and the stands are ALWAYS 100 percent full. Ridiculous.

Multiple gameplay issues. One game I had the fumble slider at 22 and there was 5 or 6 total fumbles by the 2nd quarter between me and the CPU.

The tackling and hitting physics are absolutely terrible. Defensive players don't play in unison with each other. Bad tackling and pursuit angles.


College bands play the same damn music over and over again. Jesus they could have paid a local band to play tons of generic college music. Its gets very repetitive after a while. Although they can add more music as time goes on it is disappointing for a game that got delayed a whole year.

And I could go on and on.

I played Madden 24 free on game pass last month and it is LIGHT YEARS AHEAD OF CFB 25. THAT IS SAYING SOMETHING.

I am glad to be back in the world of SDS because EA sports is just ridiculous.

I might check out Madden 25 but I learned from CFB 25 don't ever pay full price for a EA Sports release.

It is actually refreshing playing MLB the Show again after dealing with EA Sports.

That is definitely possible. I guess they did put that in the smaller schools.


I was playing a Miami Hurricanes dynasty and the stands were always full no matter what.

Yeah I played as Notre Dame and it was always full. But I figured that was because of Notre Dame lol
